My computer was made in 2010, and needs to be played at an extremely low resolution, along with config file edits and mods to be remotely playable. The game struggles with graphical options, Medium texture resolution (The lowest setting) looks the same as Ultra, and does not offer any performance enhancements.

TLDR: Look at the specs of the game, and compare them with yours. If your computer can't run Skyrim at high settings, get a new computer or get it for console.
