Fun gameplay, amazing music, interesting story, I can't believe this whole game was made by one guy.
The artstyle reminds me of early 2000's internet fanart, but it fits in well in the world and the dialogue is really well written.

One of the most user friendly rougelikes I ever played, I really appreciate the pun based humor.

The interactions between skill trees and the crafting system takes a while to figure out and the final boss is really freaking tough, but other then that it's one of my favourite games.

Shame the company colapsed, I wish we could get a remake or a sequel.

Really fun game, similar to terraria but in SPACE, with a ton of planets to visit

Lots of fun quests, building spaceships, fighting space pirates, mining with a big mech, building towns, trading between space stations and more

Early Access Review
Half of the cards don't have any art yet, but the gameplay is really fun and balanced, I hope the devs find a sponsor to fund the game

Never in my life have I seen a game that gave you a feeling of "Great game, but needs more work and polish to be great" that would last for over 6 years.

The game is really fun, but it perpetually needs a bit more polish:
PvP works for 6 VS 6, but the balancing needs some work (it's tricky to balance 18 unique classes and develop new ones at the same time as making new content).
The dungeons are fun, but need more polish (dungeon mechanics are often completely unexplained).
Nations all have different themes and are fun to explore, but need some more work (the government is completely useless, kinda like in IRL but it's planned to be reworked)
Classes are fun to play, but need more work (some classes have aged better than others and prepare for people to telling you you suck if you don't use the optimal build)
The leveling and stuff is fun, especially when you are doing interesting quests (but there are still level gaps between questlines, occasionally leaving you to have to grind for 10 levels untill the next questline), but still better than a lot of other games.

The gameplay is fluid and fun, except when it's not (expect some occasional lag when loading areas, the artstyle is beautiful, but it takes it's toll on toaster computers)

The comunity is great, really loyal and always ready to help other players (whenever they are not complaining about bugs and how slow the updates are, even thought they release them almost each other month)

At the end of the day the game is fun to play casually, as long as you keep in mind it is being developed my one french studio that just doesn't have the same level of quality as the big companies out there. The game definitely has the same cute artstyle, tounge in cheek humor and heavy handed puns as the other games from Ankama, but this is par of the reason why I love this game and have been playing it for the last 8 years.
It's probably not a game for everyone, but I think everyone should give it a go.

While the game released not long ago and a lot of the features you'd expect in a card game are still in development, it is a charming game with gods that each have a unique mechanic they can use to gain an upper hand.

While the game isn't very well balanced yet and some content really needs some polishing, the development team is actively working on fixing most of the problems.

I agree that some infinite cards are stronger than others, but I don't remember a single time an oponent playing a certain infinite that would straight up win him the game or vice versa, if you play hearthstone you know legendary cards and how in most cases you can't rely on them, well here you have 45 cards in a deck and can only have 5 different infinites, so relying on them won't get you anywhere (though one infinite exists that does draw you another infinite, so if you have just 2 in your deck you double your chances of drawing it).

Also while crafting cards is harder than in hearthstone due to te dust ratio, the number of packs you get from the gold from daily quests and daily log-in tokens is quite higher, making your colection grow quickly and once you are happy with a deck, you can just spend the gold on leveling up your infinites to unlock the other versions of them.

The only problem I have with this game is that starting out is hard.
If you play this game for a month, you will get most of the cards you need to build a fun deck to play and be able to craft the rest with the dust, but getting there is kinda annoying as you will have to use sub-par decks (same as in most card games I guess). Also it is really annoying that while you get all the basic cards for a god just by completing a tutorial, you can get those same cards randomy in deck and their dust value is quite low, so getting them in packs is a disappointment, so i hope they change it soon (though packs are cheaper relative to most CCGs).

Overall the game is not "pay to win" but i'm sure spending some money on packs will bridge the gap between "just started" and "kinda competitive deck" which is helpfull, I personally spent nothing and have a quite good xelor deck now in my opinion, but I just suggest you find a cheap deck to build early on and try doing that, as some of the cards you don't start out withwith are really good in certain decks, also I recomend buying golden packs untill you get at least 2 infinites that fit your deck, than just buy bronze ones to fill your colection, it's what I did.
All in all it's nothing that you wouldn't expect starting out a CCG, but the powercurve of cards could be improve a bit.

Other than that, this game is really fun to play and hard to master (though learning what the cards do can sometimes be "try it out" as the wording on the card effects isn't 100% consistent), just don't expect a fully polished product, as it's still getting finished even though it's "realeased".
Also don't spend your gold on the dungeon mode yet, the devs know it's lame and are curently working on reworking it.

PS: They released a patch that makes dungeon mode easier as cards you get from it are no longer random and you cannot get basic cards in packs anymore, as well as being able to disenchant non-dupilicates, full disenchant value for modified cards, etc. so things are looking up!
Also they anounced an expasion coming soon, including a new god to play.

One of the best games I ever played.
Great music, good story, interesting characters, beautifull artstyle.
I guess I just wish it was longer :)

A rhythm-rougelike game that is incredibly fun to play.
Besides being a rougelike game, it doesn't give you time to think your next move, because every move you make is bound to the beat of the dungeon, which features the catchiest soundtrack ever.
This creates a mixture of strategic jumping, frantc battles and trying to smack your enemies around to the beat (which is surprising satisfying, though might get you into trouble if you aren't carefull).
The mmucis is really good, and besides it there are two more soundtracks for two characters, if you wanted more (one is synth remix and the other is a heavy metal version, for the harder charcters).
There is a handfull of other characters you can play, some play difrent, but most are just plain harder to play, for those who want some aditional chalenge (and most of them are relatives of the main character Cadence and have music-pun names).
The enemies are unique and well designed, you can easily tell what kind of enemy is approaching you, and as you play, you wil get used to knowing what enemy is behind you just by their sound.
The shopkeeper is a retired badass like in most rougelikes, but also happens to be an opera (shopera) singer, which is really usefull as you can her him across the level, signaling how close to the shop you are. If you manage to kill him you get a bling crown that doubles all your coin drops, but his gost might come to avenge him in later levels.
If you like to play rougelikes to the beat this is the game for you (and if you don't want to be rushed, play as bard and play the turns as slowly as you want, while still enyoing the awesome music).
