Played a lot of 2K19 and enjoyed it. 2K21 improves on some things but I miss some minor things from 2K19. The swing mechanics are more accessible at low difficulties but at Pro and above can present a good challenge. It is important calibrate your swing. If you think your going to consistently hit a perfect shot at high difficulties levels, you won't. And this is one of the things I like. It's YOUR skill level that matters. Your player doesn't gain skill levels. It is all about you.

The game looks better than 2K19 and there are a lot of downloadable course available. The commentary though is not too great. I like having commentary but when I'm putting and he says I'm "going for the green" it breaks immersion. I miss the item customization options that were in 2K19. It has nothing to do with gameplay, but I liked it.

The inclusion of real life players in the PGA tour is welcome. It is a shame that there are no women pros though.

I held out until it went on sale to upgrade but I'm glad I did.
