I played the original TGC and liked it. I've played many versions of Tiger Woods and other golf games. For me TGC 2019 is the best. It feels more like playing golf not an arcade game. Note that this is IMO more of a golf simulator than other titles and so takes time to learn and acquire the requisite skills.

I would recommend that PC players use a controller for easier swing mechanics. I use an XBox wired controller and it works well for me. I have the Pro level clubs in my bag, not the master level which I find to be the right mix of challenge and fun.

Many players seem to have a hard time with putting and I did too. Then I found a YouTube video by North47 on Putting Tips that really helped me dial in both the break and power of my putts. I enjoy the putting game now and it is fun to watch a 30 foot putt drop because you read the break just right.

There a a host of good courses to play created by community members. Some are just fantastic and are as good as the official courses. And if you want, these is a course designer which you can use to create your own courses and post them for the public.

Would I recommend this game to you? If you like simulation games and golf, then yes. If you are looking for a game that is more "gamey" then maybe not. For me this is the most enjoyable golf game I've played to date.
