Early Access Review
Dwindling community in a multiplayer exclusive: Play with friends, you'll have a good time.

Unrivaled VR Mechanics, but weird priorities.

This game rarely has anymore than 15 players, despite its insane online presence.
Starting off with a 1v1 arena mode for the first years of development was basicly suicide, but by sheer luck and quality of the main gimmick, they are scraping by.

They could easily boost player numbers exponentially, by starting off development with singeplayer modes. A game dependent on others to play, will only grow if people take the chance to buy a game that noone is playing yet.

Make content that does not rely on the dwindling playerbase. It's a brainless gamble not to.

This game hates success, and is doing absolutely everything it can to not succeed. I almost worry the Dev team is being sabotaged.

I understand that this is Early Access, and that the team had no other option; But holy moly, it is a puzzle to understand why anything was done the way it was. Everything is a confusing crappy mess that looks neat at first glance, but really just isn't.

Do not buy this game alone. You will likely need friends to get anywhere.

And as for the character update, my progress refuses to save.
As cool as the cosmetics are, everything around is bafflingly ♥♥♥♥.

Initial impressions of character update:
Unrivaled VR Mechanics, seen nowhere else!
(To my knowledge)
The best character creator I've ever experienced. It almost overshadows the game itself. Incredible!

And you get to use that awesome character, to throw rocks at people in the coolest ways you could ever imagine. What more could you possibly ask for, in a game like this? :D

oh right uh, singleplayer/co-op campaign. maybe one day! :)
(or even just other ways to mess around than the park)
(booowling? anyone?)

"While I think a campaign would be a lot more fun, this is still one of the best uses of the VR medium I've seen."
