This is one of the best games i've played in a long time, I have always been a HUGE fan of Story Rich games (Mainly the Professor Layton games) which makes this game stand out quite quickly for me.

Characters

The characters we're all so unique, even the side charcters like Burgerpants and Temmie stood out so much. I respect the fact you made every singe side character different unlike some games who would make merchants and villagers all look the same.

The personalities were very broadened, each character had their own way of getting you attached. Toriel was sweet and cared deeply for you, making you feel bad about leaving the ruins. Sans is a jokester who seemed to be there for Comic relief (No Pun Intended) and i Love that you gave him A deeper knowledge and backstory. I would say "This is the same for all the characters" But it's not, None of them our exactly the same. These characters felt real to me, real people i was interacting with, they were real friends.

Story

The story is very strong and emotional in lots of different ways. At times i'd be laughing hysterically and other times i'd be crying joyfully or emotionally. What i like about the story is that it's not difficult to understand, i see lots of games who make the story so complicated and twisting i just can't keep up. In this game i understood everything, i figured out a a little before it actually happen. Don't get me wrong i'm not saying the story is simple i'm just saying it's not trying to branch out in too many directions. I won't post anything about what in the story i liked as i want people to be able to read this spoiler free.

Features

To be Very honest i'm not the biggest fan this games way of characters remembering everything you do. I mean it wasn't bad at all, it was really interesting. I just wish i could do a True Reset incase i want to restar properly. Picture this scenario "You want to reset the game because you didn't do the Pacifist Route properly and you want to experience the proper text and actions of the characters, when you reset the characters remember you, your choices and who you may have killed" This is what happened to me. Again, don't get me wrong i didn't this feature i just thought it could have more of a free option to truly reset.

Despite that, the idea of Sparing, brilliant, something i don't see that often. Don't quote me on this but i hear a feature like that was in Metal Gear Solid(?). I'm glad i could finally be the Good Guy instead of the Murderous guy or even the other way round. A clever feature to go with this is the fact the Characters will actually react to your choices of murdering Monsters (Don't look if you haven't played this yet it's a HUGE spoiler e.g Killing Papyrus then having to fight Sans).

Conclusion

This game is one of the best games recently, i feel like the characters are real. This game is so story driven i forget how retro the graphics are. If you are considering buying this game or you are looking for a Story Rich and Emotional game, please, Go with Undertale!

On the other hand if you are looking for something more choice based i would recommend a different game like:
Until Dawn
Minecraft:StoryMode (If you are into that)

If i had to give a 5 Star rating it would be
4.5/5
Amazing.
Thank you for reading (I'm sorry i know it was long) *U*
