This game exists for the sole reason of achievement farming. Just click "play" and wait for the 5,000 achievements to be awarded. If you're wanting to play this game genuinely, then you're out of luck. Is it even possible to complete the first level?

Also, I discovered if you leave the game and re-join, you no longer earn achievements. I used SAM to get the remaining achievements and it crashed along with Steam.

Best episode in the series so far. Greta is absolutely fantastic. The scene with her and the security guard couldn't have been any better. Again, the actress who played Jordon also did a fantastic job. However, I feel these are nothing to do with the bank robbery and such, just showing off different characters.

I don't give this a non-recommend lightly. It was a rather interesting episode, but what I find this series fails to do is define their characters on-screen well, which would have made all the difference in the episode.

One thing I would change is the scene where the guy in the wheelchair kills the man. I would have had him shoot the man, light his cigarette, throw the bag on him, and then call the "senator" as he leaves the body there. For me, that would have made the character far more villainous and I would know that he's ruthless and evil.

This episode is sooo much better than the two previous ones. Plenty of action and the characters have been explored more. A lot of the actors' performances were good, especially the actress who played Special Agent Jordan. I quite enjoyed the fight scene and wasn't expecting him to hit the guy over the head with the bottle. The stunt co-ordination was brilliant and I felt this was on the track to something high-budget.

However, there were a few let downs:
- I found the music was a little too loud over some of the scenes with dialogue, it was a little hard to hear what they were saying.
- I didn't think the sound effects and camera angles were correct in the fight scene. The camera hasn't been carefully placed and the episode hasn't been carefully edited, so you end up seeing them missing each other. In some instances I couldn't even see where they hit each other, looking like some guy just randomly went flying. Also some of the sound effect were either delayed or way too early.

Despite these, it was an enjoyable episode. Plenty of action and it was interesting to see what happened next.

Again, a subpar episode. I actually feel if this was one long movie, it would have made it better.

Yet again, I didn't think the characters were well defined enough to make me care about them. All I know so far is that there's some guys robbing a bank and are stopped by a stereotypical (love it) Russian named Vlad. Currently, Vlad has more depth.

So, again, this feels like an ad for this game.

I'm all for these movies or episodic series based on video games. I thought this looked quite promising. This episode began good, but I came away from this feeling nothing. I feel the characters haven't been set up too well. It was just all "here's the characters, this is what they're going to do, this is them doing it". I haven't gotten around to playing PAYDAY yet, but I wanted to know a bit more about the characters - how did they turn to a life of crime? For me, the pilot episode is where you set up the characters and begin telling their story by giving the viewer a bit of information about them.

I like the fact the episode ended on a cliff-hanger, makes me want to see what happens next. Unfortunately, the cliff isn't as steep, mainly because I don't care whether or not the characters get caught or not, mainly due to the lack of info given about them. This whole episode feels like it was quickly taken from a script and thrown in there just to advertise for their game, which is also a big contributing factor to my non-recommendation for this movie.

Looked good - except it didn't work for inviting friends at all... Highly not recommended if you want to play with friends.

I'd give this game a positive review... If we didn't have multiple problems with it. My friend couldn't even get it to launch - no error message or anything. For me, the game has massive graphical problems making it difficult to see what I'm doing. Tried contacting support but the Square Enix site is ♥♥♥♥ and outdated by about 20 years.

The game looks straight from 1999.
The game plays straight from 1959.

Don't even consider. Get free for cards at bare minimum.

I've only ever played multiplayer in this game, but regardless, it's fun and almost slightly addictive. The whole idea of the game is to escape a prison, with the added challenge of doing so without raising suspicion and getting beaten unconscious before being thrown into solitary. The game is enjoyable and there are things to do outside of the whole "trying to find ways to escape".

The game gives you basic abilities to customise your character (if you decide not to choose the pre-made characters), but enough to differentiate your character from the others. The game looks nice graphically, despite being pixel graphics. The NPCs are also intelligent too - if you frame someone by hiding contraband in their desk before it is searched, the guards will attack them. It's a really enjoyable feature in this game - framing innocent prisoners for crimes you committed.

The escapes aren't too hard either, once you work out what to do. There's even a level editor (which is very easy to use) and workshop for when you run out of pre-made prisons (which there is a good amount of).
