Amazing return of the MGS series to PC. While having played only MGS and 2 on pc (no consoles), I am very lost in the story, but I refuse to read/watch it, I'll just wait for the collection to come to PC. This game is amazing and maintains the essence of MGS I remember back in the day when I played the aforementioned games. Controlling Snake feels pretty good both on keyboard+mouse and gamepay (started playing with a gamepad but moved to the GLORIOUS keyboard+mouse combination for controlling the character and being able to aim accurately).

The main mission took me a while (probably 3 hours) because, since I am kinda "new" to the game, I wasn't quite used to the descriptions, so it took some time finding the targets. Side ops are taking me about 1 hour each. You then get to replay them in hard difficulty and you can try to beat your score to unlock extra content. There's 2 extra missions I haven't unlocked as you have to get all the XOF patches in one playthrough (which you can continue, of course) during the main mission. I'm looking forward to playing them.

Pros:
- graphics and optimization: is is how a port should work. 10/10
- voice acting by Keifer Sutherland
- lots of gameplay time for this so-called "demo" (by many idiots)
- different approaches to missions

Cons:
- CAMERA TOO DAMN CLOSE. Specially when carrying someone or while close to the wall. This DEFINITELY needs to be addressed.
- AI can be a bit stupid at times
- Controlling Snake some times can be annoying because he doesn't respond the way you intend him to.

All in all, get this game. It is on sale on many places!

Graphics? awesome! 10/10. Indeed this is how you do/release console ports.
Little - notch on showing/displaying console buttons instead of keyboards ones, but that could be fixed.

Other thoughts: It's Kiefer Sutherland, you misspelled his name :P
Also I too took time to get used to his voice for this character; I've watched 24/Jack Bauer too much time and I've watched almost everything the actor did and he has a very distinctive voice, one of those you can just recognise everywhere, so I'm not sure it'll ever be "normal" for me to hear KS instead of Hayter. Maybe eventually but will take some time. Considering this, I still quite like it, KS voice adds something special and kinda suits the character, it's me who still *feels* them like separate chatacters. We'll see, but I think it's a good call!

Thumbs up, BUT:
- It still IS a demo, tho you cand do a whole lotta lot while playing it, as for demo standards, still is, and you shouldn't call names if you want to be taken seriously. Be objective, use neutral words, no swearing.
- The camera problems are very real and do need to be addressed! Felt the same way as not being able to see pass him. I did see a FOV slider but did not try to change it and see if it works. We're on PC, watching/playing on monitors NEAR our face, so we do need this fixed first.
- Controls. OMG! Get the player lie down, then try to turn around, or at least to the sides. Nope, can't do.
Understood it may be to make it realistic, but still, if affects controls and response. When in moments of timming and quick reactions this means success or failure of the objective/mission, and also the player's life.
Only tried it with KB&Mouse. IMHO, Pads are for thirdpersons WITH melee (not shooting), nothing else.
