This is how Americans imagine how football is played outside the US

Edit: used to be an epic game, now it is an EPIC game. Goodbye.

There's plenty of reveiws so I will make this short and practical for anyone not wanting to read long reviews.

Do I recommend this game?: Yes, absolutely!

Pros:
- Story is fantastic
- Remixing memories (you get to see a memory someone has and you can rewind and alter things from the memory to make them remember something fake)
- Graphics are really good (this is a 2013 DX9 game, I didn't realize it was DX9 until I alt-tabbed)
- Soundtrack is pretty good too

Cons:
- Fighting system is a bit too limited. The combo system is a good idea, but poorly implemented. Fighting can get very repetitive
- Far too linear: there's puzzles here and there but they are really simple and most of the time all you gotta do is move forward

Don't let the cons get you, the pros completely save the game. I just wish there was more memory remixing, that must have been one of the best things in the game.

THIS REVIEW MAY CHANGE AS EPISODES ARE RELEASED

I don't know what's up with people overreacting to games with a different approach to storytelling. It seems that everything that doesn't involve explosions and guns is an instant masterpiece for most reviewers. While this game tries to be different from most games by being more story-driven and less interactive (even though we can walk by ourselves and "explore"), it is basically focused on decision making and seeing how that affects the story. Now don't get me wrong, that is a good thing, but the story in this game is too childish for it to attract my eye.

The problem with this game is that they made the characters too young, specially the main one who is 18 buy behaves like a 14-year-old. There's so much teen angst in her personality that it makes me want to rewind time back to when she was a toddler and change the way their parents raised her. Most of her dialogues are simply idiotic, and it seems that she keeps wanting to rewind time just to get the right answers for meaningless conversations. Is there anything more pathetic than that?

So far, the story is bland and poorly executed. I don't want to spoil anyone, but honestly, who gives a ♥♥♥♥ about what's going to happen?

Concerning the main game, there are some issues:
- Lip-sync: as many have mentioned, this has to be one of the worst lip-sync'ed games I've ever seen. They didn't even bother
- FOV (field of view): TOO DAMN CLOSE. I have to almost to 360 turns to see ♥♥♥♥ around me
- Graphics: it's clear they approached this "let's make it look like a canvas painting" style to save resources and textures. Some people will like it, some will hate it
- Soundtrack: I read many people saying how awesome the soundtrack in this game was. It simply isn't. Every song sounds like (a couple of chords strum on an acoustic guitar and some soft pop lyrics). There's even a part where a character gets warned to "turn that punk ♥♥♥♥ down" when the music sounded more like Lady Gaga than like Sex Pistols.

As a piece of advice, and to sum it up, I’d recommend you to wait for all the episodes to be released and then see if reviews are still positive. I ordered them all after I jumped the hype wagon and I will be playing it and updating this review to reflect my final opinion on this, even though I don’t have high hopes for this.

Amazing return of the MGS series to PC. While having played only MGS and 2 on pc (no consoles), I am very lost in the story, but I refuse to read/watch it, I'll just wait for the collection to come to PC. This game is amazing and maintains the essence of MGS I remember back in the day when I played the aforementioned games. Controlling Snake feels pretty good both on keyboard+mouse and gamepay (started playing with a gamepad but moved to the GLORIOUS keyboard+mouse combination for controlling the character and being able to aim accurately).

The main mission took me a while (probably 3 hours) because, since I am kinda "new" to the game, I wasn't quite used to the descriptions, so it took some time finding the targets. Side ops are taking me about 1 hour each. You then get to replay them in hard difficulty and you can try to beat your score to unlock extra content. There's 2 extra missions I haven't unlocked as you have to get all the XOF patches in one playthrough (which you can continue, of course) during the main mission. I'm looking forward to playing them.

Pros:
- graphics and optimization: is is how a port should work. 10/10
- voice acting by Keifer Sutherland
- lots of gameplay time for this so-called "demo" (by many idiots)
- different approaches to missions

Cons:
- CAMERA TOO DAMN CLOSE. Specially when carrying someone or while close to the wall. This DEFINITELY needs to be addressed.
- AI can be a bit stupid at times
- Controlling Snake some times can be annoying because he doesn't respond the way you intend him to.

All in all, get this game. It is on sale on many places!

What's better than denying immigrants into your country?

Now, for real, game is really fun and it does get really hard. I'm just gonna point out some issues with it:
1) No randomized content (except for the endless mode), that means that after 3 or 4 play-throughs you get the same stuff over and over until you reach a point you hadn't reached before
2) No "unlocked endings" count. It would be nice knowing what endings (number) I have unlocked

This game has many flaws: the controls are kinda stiff, the character sometimes behaves really idiotic to user input making weird jumps, falling ,etc. The aiming system is just terrible (right stick + LT to shoot, horrible), he is one of the thoughest survivors in this zombie apocalypse, but he can't swim. He keeps talking and talking and talking and narrating this mediocre story about his family and whatnot. There are some puzzles which are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful and mostly based on accurate (and illogical) timing. The story is bland and characters are not interesting at all.

I struggled to complete this game because of all thos factors, yet I did, so you can see that not only does it have many flaws, but it also is a very short game.

Don't waste your money, save for other games.

This sets a new record in my 27 years of life of the worst game I've ever played. Not only does it looks like it was meant to be played but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but also the controls feel like programmed by a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and the character's response is annoyingly slow. If it wasn't for playfire I wouldn't even have installed it.
