Guilty gear strive is, as someone who really has only minorly played fighting games, incredibly welcoming to new players, especially during this time of discovery early in the games lifespan. The roster is relatively well balanced, with a few notable outliers that will surely be brought into line soon, and very unique, with each character having their own niche, and with plenty of difficulties ranging from very beginner friendly like Sol, Ky, and Giovanna, to more difficult characters like Zato and Nagoriyuki. With how many records the game has already broken, I don't see the game slowing down any time soon, and neither will I.

TLDR: Guilty gear strive is an incredibly welcoming game with a diverse roster, with plenty of beginner friendly characters and ease of access without sacrificing depth.
