I have had quite a love-hate relationship with the Final Fantasy series for a while. Beginning with FF6 a game which I thought was fantastic, then FF7 was released and I felt it was very much overrated but for whatever reason I loved FF8 and FF9 but after that point I just found no enjoyment in the series. Lightining Returns is one of the few games in the series I actually quite enjoy and its been a pleasant surprise and at a very good price point.

Its not the best game ever and its not the best JRPG either but it's enjoyable and I think a lot of people who have even a passing interest in JRPGs might appreciate it. I recommend it!

The FFXIII trilogy has taken so many bad reviews over the years. I for one, enjoyed the series. In fact, I loved all Final Fantasy games that I got to play starting with the first one on the NES.

When I start a new final fantasy, I do not compare it to the last one. Instead, I let the lore and characters take me into the rich world.

I've played FFXIII Lightning Returns on the PS3 and from what I hear, it plays great on the PC. I might just play it again!
