Really not as bad as its made out to be. Its a decent romp but probably not worth it at full price.

As someone who played the original when it came out and was one of the seemingly few who also liked this almost as much as the original I still feel this is a worthy sequel. It does have issues, small hub areas, universal ammo (which ME2 had but everyone seems to make less of a deal over it), and a few stilted dialogue.

Graphically it still holds up quite well particularly with lighting and shadow, the story is well written and more morose than the original. Its been fun replaying this for the first time in over 10 years. It may have aged poorly in certain areas but its worthwhile sequel.

Despite what other people are saying this isnt much of a brave move from Capcom since these kind of horror games are all the rage but its definitely better than the near 10 years of mediocrity that the series has been suffering from. It's nothing amazing but hopefully the final game is better but if not its still decent. Hope the series finally gets back on track.

THE DOPEFISH LIVES!

Fantastic! Its pretty much the kind of game I wanted Doom 3 to be back in 2004. Its fast, frantic and gets to the point. No condescending tutorial and just lets you rip and tear within 30 seconds of starting the game! While other developers may claim to be "old school" iD have actually gotten as close to an old school shooter than anyone has since the turn of the decade.

Just a great shooter.

Good title that really does harkin back to the old days of cRPGs. I enjoyed it for the majority of my time playing it but from Act 3 I just started to lose interest, I dunno if it was me or the game, but I was glad to "Finish" it.

Maybe it was the mindset I was in but I'm glad its over but I would still recommend.

THIS is my kind of indie game! None of this pretentiousness, none of this political agenda/messege, none of this "Walking Simulation" etc. This is what a game should be and thats is Fun! Its very simple yet addictive and the way the movment speed, the bunny hopping feels/works is just like something from the 90s and it feels great.

This will probably go unnoticed but it really is an addicitve fun little game.

I have had quite a love-hate relationship with the Final Fantasy series for a while. Beginning with FF6 a game which I thought was fantastic, then FF7 was released and I felt it was very much overrated but for whatever reason I loved FF8 and FF9 but after that point I just found no enjoyment in the series. Lightining Returns is one of the few games in the series I actually quite enjoy and its been a pleasant surprise and at a very good price point.

Its not the best game ever and its not the best JRPG either but it's enjoyable and I think a lot of people who have even a passing interest in JRPGs might appreciate it. I recommend it!

Its simply the better game compared to FO3. Better writting, better role playing, better characters, everything isnt so black and white. This is as close as it will get to the earlier Fallout games, if they are left in the hands of Bethesada anyway.

Highly recommended especially for olders fans of the seires.
