Yes, I recommend it.

It's not the most hard-core metroidvania platformer or anything, but I grew up watching the show and played the original games on NES and Gameboy almost 30 years ago, so there is a nostalgia factor for sure. However, it is still a good game. Even on normal it is still difficult, like an old-school platformer should be. I'm almost done with normal at 15 hours, and I only have half the achievements, so there is a replay factor there. With all achievements I would estimate at least 40 hours total of play time. It's worth it, but get it on sale.

I finally beat it after 22 hours, but I almost wasn't able to due to a bug (likely from having an Nvidia card. One cutscene after beating the final boss would always freeze the game, so I had to pause and skip the cutscene right after beating him. Of course the game didn't end there, and there was a super difficult "escape" level. It was very hard even on normal difficulty.
