8/10

It's a good classic point&click adventure game. It is only very slightly dated. It has mostly aged well. The cursor gives you just two choices on each interactive object, simplying your choices like a modern adventure game.

Puzzle design is weird, but you get used to it, and you may need to use a guide a few times. You need to try doing the same things you've already tried multiple times, because this game is a little more realistic. The protagonist will NOT pick up an item unless it is ready to be used for the next step of a puzzle. Go check the bag/desk/closet/etc again later on and you may find another object you need, but that the character would not pick up (or even see/notice) until a further point along in the current puzzle being solved. It's annoying and bad puzzle design, but knowing this helps you not get stuck as much. Also there is a lot of pixel-hunting for hard to find items. That shows the game's age. No ability to instantly highlight all interactive points on the screen like in most modern adventure games.

Overall, definitely a classic of the genre to be checked out, despite the occasional clunky puzzle design.
