Early Access Review
"If you want to swing left, put your cursor to the left of your character before pressing LMB."
But every time i move the cursor, the character faces it, and I only end up moving my weapon two inches in front of me on the right hand side of my character.
Please add a lock on/target system for fighting enemies so when i want to swing left, it doesn't rotate my character.

I know this can be a bit tricky to learn, but think of it as a click and drag of your weapon from the side you want to swing to the target. You don't need to move the mouse much at all. You can do this without turning, however putting a bit of body rotation in attacks is generally good for power, whichever side you swing from.
