Don't buy it unless you have a friend and if it is on sale. Doing stupid stuff together is fun in any game.
It is kind of okay, but there are numerous things I don't like. It is too easy, I would wish for a bit of realism in planes or helicopters. Even though you completed a region there are still tons of enemies around, spawning randomly whereever you might be. Forcing story sequences no matter where you are is just stupid. Sitting in a plane? No problem, you are hunted and hit by bliss from invisible hunters. Killing all enemies that come? Doesn't matter, you get hit and pass out anyway. That is the only thing that really made me angry.
Fighting a cult was kinda cool, although only one of those enemy bosses was a decent one.
The world the game is set in is really nice. Farms, lakes, just Montana being Montana. Sad thing that all you discover with your friend in his world isn't synchronized for your gamesave.
Graphics are great, optimization too.

Single player is great! Only thing is the optimization (cars despawning immediatly after being out of your fov)

Online is a different story. Although being fun, I despise games without a working anticheat and gta online is loaded with hacking and modding persons. Being ignited by an unkillable invisible flying player is not cool, trust me.
I don't like the financial aspect either. I didn't play an awful lot on online, hence I am only lvl 40-something, mostly doing stuff with some friends.
Being killed by other players in jets, flying rocket cars or tanks is really not that nice, while you would have to farm for literal hundreds of hours (or buy shark cards to throw money to rockstar or mod the game for more money).
I would give it a worth its' money, but still kinda meh rating

Great game to play while talking to friends, although the singleplayer lacks variety.

Although I don't like turn based strategy, this rpg is really good. Dialogues are great, the world looks wonderful, level of detail is pretty nice. Gameplay is okay (in my personal expirience!), go give it a try when on sale. I enjoyed my 20 hours and will definitely play more of it, especially when being with friends.

There are better solutions for a nice desktop but this one works and is easy to use, although the UI is a bit clunky.

best amusement park sim/builder in existence imo. Sure, roller coaster tycoon has the nostalgia but this here is great too.
Sadly, the game does lacks a bit of optimization.
A mid sized amusement park runs terribly with just over 30 fps and frame drops on a 3700X 4.2 ghz 16 thread cpu.

Still the best game to play while talking about all kinds of random stuff. Mods are great too, workshop delivers a new level of gameplay and stuff to try out.

Edit: Somehow, even tho many things have improved it is just less fun. Matchmaking is ♥♥♥♥, anti-cheat somehow worse than in cs:go. I just don't know what to say.

The game itself is pretty enjoyable while the workshop adds another level of deepness in this game. It is very fun to build your own functioning city.
Only thing that does really bother me is the dlc policy and the installation of the paradox launcher in combination with a necessary paradox account. After all, it is a paradox game, so there are a ton of dlcs in this game. Get them on sale, most of them add some details e.g. new transportation or park.
