probably fine for 15 bucks on sale, but the soul of far cry got lost between far cry 4 and 5.
I don't need crazy weapons or a huge ass map that takes probably 100s of hours to complete. It just makes me feel dead inside.
Also somehow far cry 3s story is more interesting to this day than whatever they're trying to come up with now. In hindsight, it's probably because far crys don't take themselves serious anymore. Wdym you fight a revolution and always joke around and laugh even tho hundreds of revolutionists die? Thousands of souldiers are killed? I liberate a town and nothing changes, I destroy a checkpoint and nothing happends. It is a scenario completely free of any consequences.
You don't care about characters, you don't care about the revolution, the enemy, hell, even the landscape feels empty and soulless somehow. Why can't games get more npcs and actually living places, like in AC Unity? Why are cities nothing like cities irl.


At least it looks okay I guess. Whatever, buy it for single digit moneydos on sale if you're a fan of the series; if not, stay away!

Had my fun since I'm kind of into trains, but I don't really see the replay value if I'm being honest.
It's great to see that much effort put into the game by the devs in addition to great communication.

It's gorgeus and I really like it a lot, although I find it a little less fascinating than the first part.
Aged like fine wine.

I like that the game kind of embraces its arcady-ness in its art style and animations. Some dislike it, I think it's fine.
Can't disable it, even though Criterion said you will be able to, back when it was in developement.
I like that you get nitrous for cool moves. Kinda rewarding.
Graphics are okay. Performance too.

That's about it. Handling is awful (coming from forza with a controller), rubber banding is worse than I've ever seen before. Limitations for restarting a race??
Story is ♥♥♥♥♥ but even that is kinda okay, it's a racing game so whatever.
Wouldn't play this ♥♥♥♥ for free, much less for 70€ or 21€ in sale

Rework Most Wanted with better handling, people are going to thank you with their wallets.

kinda repetitive but I love the post-apocalyptic theme and design
combat is easy but satisfying.

Although the game was in a pretty rough state when released, I think I can recommend it now.
It had loads of issues for months after release.
Also, somehow the games got less and less fun over the years. Thankfully they improved the engine sounds coming from FH4, graphics are fine, gameplay is okay.
The world feels a bit emptier and less detailed and less fun overall, although I can't really pin it why. The hot wheels dlc world is trash compared to the chaotic island of FH4.

They've patched the game to a point where I can definitely recommend it, especially if you can get it on sale, although I'm not sure if I am going to buy the next successor to this series.

Totally okay if you get the game on sale. Not as great as the old ones and not as extensive as the Warhammer series but I still like it a lot. The setting obviously helps.

Part of my childhood and a top tier strategic game

absolute masterpiece. I had great fun with it for hours and will probably go for all achievements of some point.

It has aged exceptionally well and was a blast even 9 years after release.

Great fun, if you have a microphone and some friends.
If not, I'd heavily advise not going for it. The game is much less fun when communicating only via text chat.
Also, hackers are a thing and the servers are pretty bad.
