Rust is one of those survival games you can jump in any time to just chill out, go harvest materials and build whatever you like.
I'm mostly PvE and spend time in Rust just to relax.

The base game has a good amount of things to do to keep the interest going but my favourite option if for some of the modded servers which add extra touches like more NPC's, server events, treasure hunts, PvP areas, custom maps, etc. etc. which can add a whole lot more to the game-play.

Either solo or grab a few friends, Rust is just a good chill out game unless you want to go OG and hit the PvP servers. :-)

Who hasn't hear of Rocket League....
Super addictive car football (even for more who isn't a football fan). Great fun, excellent action for streaming content and sometimes just a little frustrating when on a losing streak.

Car customisation is massive, even without paying for the in-game credits (old crate system). Several game-modes and occasion special events to give the gameplay variety. The movie based cars are fun and I hope to see more added.

Although, I do recommend you find yourself a couple of friends to play and develop with as sometimes getting placed with randoms can be frustrating if they're lower level skilled, selfish or trolling.

Obvious budget CS-GO clone with low end graphics (works ok for lower end PC's i guess). Gun mechanics seem ok, sound is pretty meaty but the game just lacks something.
The main menu and UI is a complete mess and navigating around is not easy. Gameplay is same ol' TDM Military Vs Terrorist format. A mix of in-game currency items and real world cash stuff but nothing amazingly ground breaking or really interesting for that matter. Maps are not balanced/tested well and there's spawn camping exploits in some.

BIG down side is anti-cheat seems quite weak, you can go a few matches without a hacker but pretty much most are using ESP... you can fake jumping out of a corner and bait them to pre-fire 'til the days end... try it. Also, the occasional aim-botter. (No kill cam or obvious reporting system - so no punishment for using them?... Don't know!)

There's many other options out there for F2P shooters, I recommend one of them before Black Squad.

Great to play through for the Witcher story and lore but starting to feel a little dated around the edges.
Movement & combat is a point 'n' click style system which clunky but OK when you get used to it, although the floating camera can make things even more annoying. Combine this with a click-to-hit combat and things get a little frustrating... expect misclick plays & fights.
Quest givers, item and locations can also break. Some givers disappear, quest items can despawn with no option to try again and some locations get locked off with storyline.
Lastly, expect to run everywhere, more quick travel (or even a horse) would have been nice, especially for the 'fetch quests' which did feel like a little like padding at times.

The storyline still holds up well, graphics are still pretty decent and still enjoyable to play.

One solid little immersive game. Great puzzler, RPG strategy with a lot of nostalgia from the Commadore Amiga days. Great attention to detail and environment, very blade runner-esque in places. A fun little game seemingly based on the Amiga classic 'Syndicate', including a few nods to the original developer Bullfrog and also spattered with a few comedy & sci-fi references which raised a smile.

Only little hitch was 2-3 time when an agent got trapped inside scenery but overall good fun and a decent little storyline.

If you're a South Park fan you'll enjoy the game, with so many reference jokes there's always something nostalgic to giggle at. As for the game, it's great to see a decent effort for a change with a tie-in game, the RPG is solid, fights are fun and challenging and there's a good storyline which keeps switching up nicely, keeping with the shows usual crazy & edgey style.

I took arond 20 hours of casual gameplay to complete the story and most side quests, there is some replayability with different quest choices and a split in storylines. For the acheivment hunter, you will probably have to run through a second game to grab items which can be missed during storyline quests that are inaccessible later.

Overall, solid story, fun & quirky and not disapointing. An easy temptation into buying the next game!

Just nope!!!!

I'm all for realism and intricate crafting but this becomes beyond tedious to do the simplest of tasks. Coupled with the mechanics such as you can dig flat dirt/land but need loads more exp. to dig a dirt slope and similar, is maddening.

The GUI is a mess, inventory is all righ-click menu select with no drag-n-drop ease, combat is a select weapon & sit-back-n-watch, moving around is painfully slow (don't dare try if 'over burdened').

I wanted this game to be so much more and ignored the usual 'grind' complaints from the instant gratification kids but even an old timer who started gaming with text advetures find this to be far past nerve grindly slow and was almost painful after just 2 hours.

I got this VERY cheap (3rd party steam key site) and would say £22.49 is ridiculous (borderline robbery). Spend that kind of cash on something more well-known in the sandbox genre.

I'm addicted just after 6 hours of playing.
I'd picked up their other title 'Gunpoint' in a Humble Bundle and surprisingly enjoyed it yet Heat Signature is so much more. (Also looked tempting after watching a review by Yogscast's Tom)

The hyper-action shooter gets pretty crazy at times and trying not to panic in dire situations is key but the additional elements of the various equipment, traps and other tools makes for a more complex strategy than just a basic hyper-shooter.

Just good fun with that 'Just one more mission' hook. It also makes for some good streaming content.

Early Access Review
Update:- It's such a shame to see another great little game fall by the weyside. It's frustrating to see how small developers still lack the support in the industry and the money makers will only invest in name brands or tried and tested game formats, which just leave the industry over saturated with waves of the same genres or franchises.

Not usually one for 'bullet-hell' type games but I'm quite enjoying this one. A simple top-down XP grinder shoot-em-up with permadeaths. It reminds me of a browser game I used to play called Dark Orbit.

Gangs of Space is currently in-dev & PvE content only (Dev have stated the don't have plans for PvP gameplay), but the friendly co-op makes a pleasent change. Easy to play solo or co-op to grind up your ships level and modules. Interesting rouge-like level designs for capturing areas of space and also some boss fights in the higher tier levels.

Unlike the other game I played, GoS isn't heavy on the micro-transactions (and don't spam it either) and there are no paywalls for any game content, which is very refreshing. There's even some little give-aways for placing #10 or above on league tables.

Only worry I have is Dev's have had to put game development on a part-time basis due to lack of funding & F2P format so the future of the game is unsure. Although they are active in Discord and I've even spoken to them in-game.

OVERALL an addictive little shooter that has that 'Just one more battle' effect.

Do I really need to recommend Portal 2?

The rare occasion when a developer drops a sequel which outshone the original by miles.
Great fun, more mind bending puzzles, solid story with some great characters & voice acting.

Another MUST HAVE for any nerd.
