It's great if you like not making progress. The main flaw of this game is that it takes forever to make even a tiny bit of progress, not because the dungeons are annoyingly long (which they are), not because the plot is a "go fix this new broken thing" plot (which it is), but because the game is padded so heavily you could use the case as a flak jacket.

The combat is alright but the tiresome process of getting new loot every five seconds bogs the game down even more, and there's a 90% chance the gear you find is gonna be terrible anyway. It's a bit Bayonetta-esque with some attacks summoning giant hands or weapons to smack your foes with, but unlike Bayonetta, the game is hardly challenging and there's not as much impact upon finishing a combo.

Honestly, I could have dealt with all of the above, but the final straw for me was about halfway through (I assume.) In short, I had to talk to this dude, but he wouldn't let me until I killed this thing. So I went to go kill the thing, but I couldn't kill the thing until I got three other things. So I got the three other things and killed the thing, but when I went to talk to that dude he was like, "Nah bruh, I ain't even gonna talk to you until you find my three home-boys in these three grindy dungeons which will also probably make you have to find three things before you can get to them."

So in short, it's bland, padded, and forgettable. The problem is that it's not even a bad game, it's just tedious.
