Actually a really fun game and surprisingly seems fair with everything! There's not really any tricks that force you back down, its basically learning the mechanics and staying consistent! I kind of wish the formula was more "easier at the bottom, harder at the top" but what can ya do, the difficulty is all over the place over the entire course! With friends its absolutely hilarious as you go from feeling like your chemistry is beautiful to terrible in the matter of seconds!

Not too shabby, 8/10

Extremely fun game, easy to understand but complex to master! Lots of different characters and game modes that allow for a ton of replayability, however I wish the level structures varied more and more enemies but its a simple game so I wasn't expecting too much! The unique characters are outstanding, each playing entirely different than the next instead of most rougelikes where you can change "damage types" or "one vs many types", they all have unique builds and ways to to acquire dice! Plus you get free DLC that adds even MORE game modes so its just chock full of content, it took me about 40 hours to 100%!

Awesome gameplay and Lady Luck, 8.5/10

It's SO close to being an amazing game, but tends to just miss the mark in some aspects. While I found it enjoyable to begin with, getting to the end of the game was a relief. Gears of War is built on being an extremely over-the-top cinematic game play experience: big characters, big weapons, large explosions, beating the odds, etc. I think if this game just pushed the envelope further it could've been an amazing game, but instead it seemed to play it safe and was set back to a slightly above average game IMO.

Give me MORE enemies at once but let my squad be MORE powerful. Allow the missions to be LONGER at times and have MORE variety. MORE enemy types, MORE weapons, MORE customization, it felt like the game is scared to go over-the-top.

As a turn-based game it is pretty good with good flow, UI, and graphics! I think if they got rid of most of the required side missions and just got to the meat of the story missions, it would also make this a great game.

Could've, should've, would've, 6/10

A really REALLY well-executed game! The atmosphere is mysterious, making you question how you ended up in this situation or what is even sitting across from you playing the game. The items created to change the odds are awesome, working on their on and with each other for powerful combinations! Sometimes you can solve how to win the game (or survive) but most of the time you have to make calculated guesses and pray on your luck! The audio effects help immerse you in the game, especially with how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ strong the shotgun sounds mixed with the recoil and reactions of you or the entity getting blasted. The only thing I dislike about the game is I wish there was a way to speed up the animations as after hours of game play it was a bit of a lag waiting on everything.

For just $3 this game is phenomenal, I really hope they pull through on adding multiplayer because I would love to play with friends! Even if they added another item or two in the future it could switch up how you play and add diversity and risk!

My memory is sometimes iffy so I shot myself a lot, 9/10!

Probably the best tower defense game to ever be created, its got charm, uniqueness, creativity, the works! There's so much to be done in this game and a lot of challenges for you to piece together. So many unique maps, heroes, towers, skill trees, daily challenges, bosses, events, and even cosmetics! The ONLY thing I dislike about this game is that some of the achievements are complete BS, huge time wasters and for the races seem like you are forced to pay to unlock it naturally (thank god for SAM in these cases). HOWEVER, 95% of the achievements are really really good and give you in game rewards for completion so its a great motivating factor to test your luck at all of them!

You can play this on basically any device and transfer your account to keep the bloon carnage going and has options to lower the visually craziness which is especially useful when you get to those high round games.

Will the Bloons series ever die? Not with this game around, 9/10

This game was both a massive surprise that I loved while also being a game I wanted to move on to better things. The movement is great, the sound effects, the characters, designs, abilities, almost everything about this game is fantastic! When it was good it was peak and when it was down, it was still pretty good! The base game is amazing, the DLC probably isn't worth it (more below).

Where I think this game falls short is on two aspects: boss fights and DLC. The boss fights weren't terrible, I just felt they went on too long and their flow was not as fine-tuned as most levels. The DLCs are all lackluster, Seal the Deal didn't have enough good content and Death Wish is just annoying like you wouldn't believe. Its one thing to have difficult challenges, but some of them should've been tweaked or scrapped altogether. Also, it would be nice to have much faster restart times so you aren't spending all your time in waiting screens. Just a lot of things that waste your time and annoy you.

It was good, but could've been a masterpiece 8/10

A fantastic, cute puzzle game that does not try to tediously extend its runtime in any way, you just get the goods the whole time! Explore the world to restore hope in your fellow 'Embers' by solving puzzles to relight their flames. The story is very inspirational, focusing on hope, never giving up, and helping one another sop we all live better lives. I really have no complaints at all, the flow of the game is great, the music is uplifting, and the puzzles were just the right amount of chill difficulty I was expecting! It wasn't cramming puzzle mechanics all together like some games do that make it a mess to solve unless you use guides. The only little flaw I can think of is sometimes there were tiny cutscenes to show scenery change that were a tad overdone, but thats it really!

Perfectly short and sweet, 9.5/10

For a game that came out a decade ago (even longer for the original release), this game is a really really enjoyable story campaign! Specifically the world building, setting the foundation of the premise and truly building upon the hopeless aspect of surviving the end of the world underground! The level design, enemies, weapons, music, sound effects are all terrific. Really the only downside I can think of is the voice acting was very hit or miss and I hate the spider scorpions for obvious reasons.

The beginning of a great trilogy, play the second game too! 9/10

On the core it is a quite simple platformer that lets you move from 2D to 3D to solve puzzles, find collectibles, and discover new worlds. It starts off extremely well and playing through the game it leaves you with mysteries and not able to solve everything right away so you come back to it. The coming back to it part was where my issues lied as the secret puzzles are pretty out there requiring pen and paper to solve puzzles, changing your PC clock, etc. The game is still really fun on the platformer aspect, I just didn't feel like using my brain power when I wanted to relax instead lol

The parts I liked I love and the few parts I disliked I was annoyed, 7/10

For $3 this game is an absolute STEAL. Its a exciting twist on chess with new rules you learn along the way. Breaking these rules make you lost, but if you catch your troll opponent cheating then you get to cheat back! Loads of fun and a good amount of challenges in achievements to keep you busy for about 5-6 hours! The only downside is that I wish there was a way to quick restart.

I wish there was more because I would play it all immediately, 9.5/10
