Bought this yesterday, so far 12.3 hours played it says here. Don't really need to say more than that really! Some brilliant brain twisting puzzles with more variety than Portal. Movement is grid based but don't let that put you off. It may seem weird at first but it is necessary element in many of the puzzles so it is a design element rather than a limitation. Very entertaining indeed.

One of the most appauling PC ports ever created, and don't even try playing it without an xbox controller or applying the fanmade patch which ups the screen resolution from what was a fixed 720p ... BUT ... it is a long time since a game has possessed me like this. Every moment I am doing something else my mind is on the possibilities, where I could go next, what did I miss the last time I was in X, how do I get to Y or find a Z ...

Obscure to the point that instructions are virtually non-existent ... and very difficult with it. This is a game where you repeat sections over and over again until you finally crack them, just like an old time arcade game. It will have you swearing out loud at your computer on many occasions. I have heard reports of people breaking their controllers by hurling them at a wall in frustration ... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

After finding Arkham Asylum somewhat lacklustre I held off buying this for some time, despite the recommendations of friends who had all loved the first game. Eventually I picked it up in a steam sale and was pleasantly surprised. Recommended.

As well as being a superior tower defense game (with upgrades, rerouting and other nice features) one of the best aspects of Defense Grid is the high score tables that display for each game mode available on every map in the game. They show your scores and ranking relative to everyone else on your friends list and in terms of the overall world wide high score tables. Curretly working on getting in the top 1000 for all maps. Beaten my steam buddies on all maps where it is possible (all but one of the tutorial maps). The question is. are you good enough to you beat me on the rest? :P

Goofy cutscenes are cute, but what can I say? It's not "defense grid". It doesn't even come close. I am not a big fan of tower defense games where you can't reroute the invaders. That's half the fun!

Not bad, looks good, openish world but mainly linear. Not sure what all the fuss was about. The story goes no where, no character development, various criminals just make cameo appearances with little or no depth to them or the encounters. Having an ATI card, I didn't like the fact it used nVidia Physx when there are so many other good physics engines out there.

Nice little tactical racer thingie with powerups (in some modes). An interesting twist is that powerups can be exchanged for boost and that a double powerup increases it's effectiveness. Budget priced. Excellent multiplayer.

The best of the "vanilla" total wars. More of a "game" than the others with skill trees for generals and agents (metsuke , ninjas, and priests) as well as a full tech tree, missing from earlier games. Provinces also have unique bonuses making both individuals and certain regions vital to your clan's success. It is also the first Total War to venture further than Directx 9 with full Directx 11 support, so it's real purdy.

Bought this after playing Majesty 1 on my phone. Much better than the original and loads of content with this pack. Nice mix of Fantasy RTS and God game.
