Probably my GOTY and it's only 3 months into the year. Genuinely the first game inspired by Disco Elysium to come close to the quality. The writing is witty and excellent, the setting is genuinely unique and interesting, and the D&D elements are a very cool twist on the DE formula. Instead of a thought cabinet, your D&D attributes talk to you. Honestly I find this more balanced than the DE Thought Cabinet, as every single one of your attributes is useful in some way. Took me about 16 hours to beat the main quest, but I didn’t discover everything on my first run, as I went in blind. I'll definitely be replaying it in the future.

An improvement in every way. I was lukewarm on the OG because my favorite thing in card games is Recursion/Graveyard mechanics. I can say that personal nitpick has been solved. I love the Necrobinder so much. Finally true card recursion mechanics! I can finally play the Necromancer/Reanimator deck I always wanted. It's already so much more fun for me now.

Diablo 2 is an all time great. The OG ARPG and it's better than ever!

Just not for me. I love Elden ring and the Dark Souls games, but this game is not my thing. The game is too focused on rushing through everything and it's way too janky. There's basically no way to communicate with teammates. I didnt really like any of the character builds you can pick from either. Normally I like casters and magic heavy builds, but Recluse literally gets 5 casts before I run out of FP, and the only way to regen it is to use a clunky skill combo every other cast.

An improvement on the first game in every way. Combat is smoother, the systems overall are more refined, the writing is just as good, if not better, and I just cant stop playing it! Runs way better than the first game and looks much better too! Very few bugs on launch, and I'm genuinely shocked that a game could look and run this well on day 1 in 2025. Absolutely my GOTY 2025 and it's only the beginning of the year. This game is a masterpiece!

I haven't played a Sonic game since the original Generations came out. Shadow was my favorite character as a kid, and this game is pretty much everything I could have hoped for. The gameplay is immaculate and the best since Sonic Adventure 2 in my opinion. My only complaint is that it only took ~6 hours to beat the shadow portion. I wish it was longer, but overall I am very happy.

Played the hell out of this as a kid, and the remake amazing. Absolutely gorgeous, and the new changes are actually pretty fun. If you like RTS games, just get it!

Been playing since 2006, still love it.

This is the 40k game we've always dreamed of! Absolutely stellar in pretty much every way. The weapons are all fun to use and have sufficiently powerful sound effects. If you are a 40k fan and love Boomer shooters like I do, this is a no brainer to buy! I recommend playing on Hard or Exterminatus difficulty, otherwise it might be too easy.

With Immortal Empires, this game has gone from mediocre compared to Warhammer 2, to a must buy. It is simply the most refined video game Warhammer experience. I am eagerly awaiting the Chaos Dwarf DLC.
