Too many bugs to recommend right now. From rubberbanding in a private lobby, to the final boss T-posing in an invincible state forever, the bugs just start to outweigh what potential this game has. On another note, I feel like build variety might be lacking, since most of the Unique (Legendary equivalent in Diablo) effects that I've come across are either simply buffed Legendary/Rare effects, or are so mundane that they're not worth speccing around. Though, I can't say this with 100% certainty, as I can't get to endgame without actually beating the final boss.

Pretty good graphics, pretty good combat, great art design, and extremely fair price. Recommended at full and sale price.

So far, I've turned my amnesiac, alcoholic cop into a raging feminist with dreams of leading a Communist revolution. So, yea, it's pretty good.

It's pretty great, surprisingly not a toxic cesspool like you would expect with purely anonymous communication. One thing I wish they could change is that the soundtrack, while good, is very limited and it seems you might only get one new song per day? I think that's not a great system, and it should either be based on requests/answers, or just all given at the start. I've heard the same 3 or 4 songs like 5 times each in the 1.4 hours I played.

Stopping for the day because my fingers hurt. This game is great, can't believe how optimized it is. Most games I play on my 1070 at 3440x1440 I have to drop the settings to get a playable framerate, but this game I can run at 60+ fps at max settings on my resolution. Also, to anyone with a 21:9 monitor like me, look at the WSGF forum fix, it works well. Not sure if Hor+ or Vert- at the moment, but the HUD is a little off for sure. Hopefully the devs can add native 21:9 later. The music and graphics are really nice, but the combat really gets your heart pumping. When you read the skill descriptions and use them in the training section, you can see how they start to flow together. Quite a nice change of pace from the types of games I have been playing recently.

$20 gets you 10 packs, 2 starter decks, and 5 event tickets. Additionally, you have access to several free modes including free draft. There are no rewards for the free modes. Spending a ticket and getting 3+ wins means you lose nothing, 4-5 wins are profit. If you want to be competitive, you will likely need to spend another $20-50 on top of the starting price. This means artifact is closer to a normal AAA game price tag. And I think this is fair, as the game does represent a AAA digital TCG. I built myself a very competitive deck day 1, complete with some of the most expensive cards (not axe, but the other ones) and have put up pretty crazy winstreaks. Right now I'm at 2 perfect runs in a row in expert constructed and 2-0 on another. What does all this mean? It means that no, you don't need to keep spending money to get cards. Because I have already gotten 4 more packs just from playing, and haven't made a dent in my starting tickets. Treat the game as costing $60 and you won't be disappointed. Or, maybe you are more of a deluxe edition player. $80 and you'll have the best deck in the game, axe, legion commander you name it. Game is pretty good so far, I would recommend to magic vets looking to try new games.

Early Access Review
It's really not that bad. The music is good, the combat is better than average, and there's lots of tames. Sure, the optimization and translations are ♥♥♥♥, but at the very least, the translations can be improved. And, with time, people will get better computers, so the optimization won't matter as much (hopefully). I've still not made up my mind on the game, but I'll give it a recommend to boost the score (since it doesn't deserve THIS low of one).
