I'm sure the original development team that was with the project appreciates the purchase a year ago. The decision was made to make the game free on its one-year anniversary.

You're certainly welcome to purchase DLC which is supporting the development team that is, and has been, actively fixing it and creating content that was requested through community feedback, and is being put into the game with said DLC. Base game issues will still be fixed/patched as needed without the need to purchase DLC.

So, if you like supporting the hard-work of Indie Developers; please do purchase the DLC. Also make sure it looks appealing to you as well!
