For people who have beaten the game but still have that itch, the additional classes, missions, and most importantly the ability to have monsters on your team add a lot of extra 'newness' that makes coming back to this game fantastic. I have now played through the game from scratch with and without the expansion; the expansion experience felt different yet approachable enough that it stayed fun and never felt like a chore.

Fully recommend to anyone that played the original and wants an excuse to come back.

Nice low budget Strategy RPG that blends in elements from the games we all love. You get the tactical map and turn based combat of a Final Fantasy Tactics or Disgaea with the new fun card combat of a Slay the Spire. While card combat is new to the SRPG genre, it works as a combat system. Fights can get repetitive, but the battles are never too long as well as at least you're not doing literally the same action over and over again. The graphics and sound get the job done but you can see the games indie budget.

The story is good enough. Nothing so cheap as to be completely filled with stereotypes nor so complex as needing to read a wiki to understand what you just played. Seems to be the right amount of story depth for a game primarily focused on the combat gameplay.

Between battles you'll eventually get your 'staging ground' where you can adjust the deck of your characters. Workable enough and allows you some amount of choice.

At less than $20 USD, I would recommend for someone wanting to try out an indie SRPG that wants to try out some new mechanics for the genre. Just do not go in expecting anything AAA.

Excellent remake of the PS2 classic.

The combat system is still one of the best in any Final Fantasy system, the ability to speed up the game x2 or x4 is a very welcome enhancement from the PS2 version, the story is good enough to stay interesting, and the graphics and controls get the job done. Extremely recommend getting this game whenever it is on sale.

Absolutely charming game where you can farm and craft like many others. However, you get the bonus of making robots do all the work for you! Even making more robots!

Jamestown was a fantastic solo AND coop shooter. It allowed me to win at lower difficulties if I just needed to relax and feel good as well as let me feel stressed when I needed to beat Divine or higher difficulties. The rounds were consistently short yet I could do Gauntlet when I wanted to do a longer session. Truly a fantastic game made even better by the "+" feature of more ships and the cool new levels. Definitely get if you have the original or for everyone that is looking for an awesome coop shooter experience.

Pretty fun adventure rogue-like. More accessible than Splunky and lets you get some amount of progression with its slight rogue-lite features, without being so rogue-like that you will for sure win if you just play enough.

Extremely solid game for a Final Fantasy Tactics/Disgaea/Tactics Ogre player. This game is unique enough from those, yet approachable enough from there, that it stays fun throughout.
