The gunplay is fun but I couldn't really get into it because it was so bizarre. To explain, I love Postal 2 so much. The juxtaposition between "just your random ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trying to buy milk" turning into a showdown with all the cops and more was just amazing. Postal Brain Damaged just throws that away and makes it outright crazy, with flying obese people throwing weaponized cheeseburgers at you and rabid karens screaming at you.

In addition, the graphics are only marginally better than Postal 2. If you're thinking "hey I want Postal 2 but I want better graphics," this game probably won't scratch that itch. There's a Kickstarter for a ground-up remaster of Postal 2 tho, probably best to just wait for that.

The game is kinda fun but in a really weird jarring way. I'd recommend getting it on sale for $5

Probably my single most favorite game of all time. I've clocked hundreds of hours on the PS4.

Does it have its flaws? Yes. There's very little story to speak of, there's some gamebreaking bugs that haven't been patched. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the combat is amazing. It is without a doubt the most fun gunplay I've played in my life, more so than Doom, Fallout, Wolfenstein etc. This game really captures the essence of being a whirlwind of death and gore.

The worldbuilding is gorgeous, with bright colors and lots of different factions to fight and biomes/environments to fight in. The first game def felt like "50 shades of brown" but that's criticism the devs took to heart and fixed up.

Just sooo much fun. If you like doom or wolfenstein or any of those sort of shooters, get this game. You won't regret it. Especially when it's on sale for $8

Early Access Review
It's such a blast. I've never been a fan of pokemon and was a little skeptical, bought it cause I was bored and the trailer looked fun and I have a bad habit of buying games I don't need on Steam. I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing this game is (especially with a few QoL mods. Pro tip use UE Mod Hub, super clean and easy UI).

Obligatory ♥♥♥♥ nintendo lol, all the patents theyre suing over came out AFTER Palworld was released. Like, they saw Palworld, went "oh ♥♥♥♥, they could actually compete with us, lets file patents and then sue them over those." I don't know how that's legal but ig Japanese patent law lets them get away with it. But Palworld and Pocketpair is still up and kicking and I'm glad to be on this journey with them lmao

it's an absolute blast, so much fun. The forced EA launcher is a pain in the ass, but nowhere near as bad as "forced EA launcher" would suggest. Definitely worth the sale price of $7

I was skeptical when I realized it was a roguelike but it's an absolute blast. It takes a bit to get going, but once you get enough items, it's soooo much fun. Plays a lot like a more fleshed out Crab Champions. Best of all, hundreds of mods are easily installable to add new characters, items, features etc

The map itself is a lot of fun but there's an irritatingly big jump in difficulty between Hard and Expert.

Tbch I like the song but I only bought the map to say 'thank you' to Beat Saber for realizing that it's okay to have swear words inside a music game. Hopefully they keep releasing more uncensored DLC, nothing sucks more than having a great song with a jarring gap in the middle of it.

The mineral lamps give off very minimal light. If you want to buy this pack to support the devs, go for it. If you're buying this because you want a wall torch that doesn't need fuel, don't. The lamps just don't cut it as an interior lighting source by themselves. You would need a TON to light up even a small room. Plus you can only place them on the ground, not the walls or ceiling.

I'd give it ~3.5/5 stars
It's a fun game, plays like Subnautica (except it's not underwater). You can feel the early access tho, in several places the gameplay stagnates for an hour or so until the new building unlocks. It desperately needs a few balancing tweaks, but overall pretty solid.

UNPLAYABLE IF YOU'R USING A CONTROLLER

That's a bit of an exaggeration but not much. There's a solid half-second delay between my dualshock 4 controller wired into my computer and my view turning ingame. I have controller sensitivity maxed out. What should be an easy shot turns into me getting killed because of the input delay. (And no, I'm not some tryhard sweat blaming bad skills on input delay lol. I respect game devs enough to not leave a bad review just for that) This doesn't happen with any other game. It's a shame cause I was really looking forward to this, but shooters using kbm isn't really that fun for me. Since it was only $5 I'll hang onto the game rather than getting a refund, hopefully steam controller settings has some way to negate the worst of the input lag

It looks overwhelming and confusing at first but it's actually pretty easy to get the hang of. The ingame tutorial is comprehensive and very easy to follow. It's a ton of fun, if you like the 'technically involved, tech management' sort of game. If you just want to shoot things in a spaceship and nothing else, you might wanna consider a different game
