This is genuinely the worst update ever. The options are completely bugged—resolution, window mode, music, and effects settings are all stuck at max levels by default. Nothing is saved! Every time I launch the game or start a match, I have to lower the volume and change the window mode again.

The last level takes 30 minutes to complete, but there’s no x2 speed option, so it’s 30 minutes of doing nothing, and you have to repeat it multiple times to farm achievements. The 1M gold achievement should have been removed or modified—forcing players to install an older version of the game is nonsensical.

There’s no hard mode or new challenges, the maps are boring with nothing exciting to unlock, and the combo tab is way too small. If you don’t already know the items or play close to the screen, it’s unreadable, especially in windowed mode.

The shop layout is poorly designed—a more compact layout would have been much better. The legacy classic version no longer works, and there are no keybinding options, meaning you can’t switch to ZQSD controls or even use arrow keys.

At the start of the game, in tight areas, monster waves would spawn directly on top of me and one-shot me. There are so many issues with this update that it’s impossible to summarize them all.
