So after playing this game for the first time on a late Sunday night and wondering what the hell happened to 4 hours of my life, I looked this game up on Wikipedia.

So these 4 German students, inspired by German board game design, made Dorfromantik. Then some other Germans took this video game, and turned it into a board game, which eventually won the coveted Spiel des Jahres prize.

10/10, precision German-engineered meditative gaming
