As a Rocket League veteran, I've soared through the air and scored countless goals in this adrenaline-fueled arena. But lately, the thrill of the game has been tainted by the heavy hand of Epic Games.

Rocket League used to be a symphony of skill and strategy. Each match was a heart-pounding battle, with every flip and boost contributing to unforgettable moments. But now, under Epic's watch, things have changed. They've introduced unnecessary updates, cluttered the interface, and shifted the focus from skillful play to profit-driven features.

The introduction of aggressive microtransactions has turned our beloved game into a cash grab. Cosmetic items that once held meaning are now overpriced, and the push for constant spending has overshadowed the pure joy of gameplay. The community, once united by a love of the game, now feels divided and frustrated by these changes.

Epic Games has also disrupted the competitive scene. Changes to matchmaking and ranking systems have made it harder for players to find fair, balanced matches. The once-thriving esports community is struggling, with many feeling that the spirit of true competition is being undermined.

In short, Rocket League is a shadow of its former self. Epic Games is steering this great game off course, prioritizing profits over players. It’s heartbreaking to see a game that was once about skill and community being dismantled piece by piece. We need to rally and remind Epic Games what Rocket League truly stands for before it's too late.
