The dev has been very smart by adding full mod tools so there is a thriving community of almost infinite content for this game including new maps, vehicles, weapons, and more. I have been popping in and out of this game during its early access period and while development is done at a glacial pace I think it is due to the complexity of the game while the massive mod community makes up for the very long periods between updates. Though, the dev is consistently working on Teardown and is very vocal about what they are currently developing if you join their discord.
