If you play only one FPS this year make sure that game is DOOM. This is the true old school revival I have been looking for! DOOM is so much fun with extremely fast paced gameplay like the good old days combined with a seriously optimized engine makes for an amazing experience. The graphics are fantastic and with almost every setting pumped to the max I am usually around my 100fps cap. This game is such a pleasure to play and being able to maintain a high framerate with a 100hz monitor is just pure glory. Do yourself a favour and get this game!

The multiplayer was contracted by a different studio and is pathetic .Due to the fact that the game is really only single player, though it has a lot of secrets and exploration, I would reccomend getting it for the 40 dollar mark rather than the absurd $80 asking price. There are many websites online that have it for this price. Definitely worth 40 bucks!
