I've been playing Prison Architect on and off ever since like 2 weeks after it was first put on Steam.
The game has gotten very interesting over the course of the last year or two, going from a simple prisoner management game where your biggest risk was a door being left open to now where a prisoner could steal multiple guns, plan a riot, and execute your entire staff before escaping.

Well, well well. It would appear most past wrongs have been righted.
There's still a ludicrous amount of DLC, but at least the microtransactions are gone.

This game falls into the same category as Euro Truck Simulator 2. Its a simulator of sorts that at first glance should not be fun, but in practice is quite enjoyable.

Its like XCOM but with way more inbreeding.

They banned modding. RIP.

Before i mention the one very majorproblem with the game, let me just say the base game is excellent, i'd go on about the specifics but just watch any youtube video of the game for those.

Also before i continue this problem is only present in the anniversary edition for obvious reasons.

So, right now in anniversary edition the teeth transplant is actually impossible, not just very hard to do, but legitimately impossible. Essentially what the problem boils down to is that the teeth are placed in a nice sorage container off to the left. Ths is where the problem arises The teeth hitboxes are the smallest in the entire game (smaller than the pills) which makes since and normally wouldnt be a problem. BUT it is a problem as the box in which the teeth are in makes it actually impossible to pick them up as it interrupts your pointer finger and thumb (if you're unaware when a grab gets interrupted the fingers just stay how they were when they were interrupted) thus making it so you CANNOT reach the teeth. Theoretically you could get the teeth a spot where they could be reached... note i said theoretically, this is because since their hitboxes are so small you cant really get them out of the box using any tools either, and before you ask, NO you CANNOT move the box itself.

Now you may be thinking "well whats the problem with that? so what one surgery doesnt work, its not like it makes the rest of the game unplayable." actually it literally does make the rest of the game unplayable as to unlock any futher surgeries you MUST beat the teeth transplant, to add insult top injury you also have to beat in all the other scenarios.
So yeah take that into account before buying right now.

TL;DR: The teeth transplant cant be beat (at least not without hours of work)

An excellent 2D Blocker with Platforming elements. When a game reaches this level interms of how many games have copied it's style you at the very least have to acknowledge that it did something right.
