First impression of Civilization VII is fantastic. The UI is a little clunky for sure but besides that the game is smooth and offers a perfect blend of the styles of Civilization V & VI. Gone are the cartoon-like cities of VI but also gone is the boring plainness of V. Cities and towns (two separate things now!) are gorgeous and sprawl. This is the district system perfect.

I can't wait to sink hundreds of hours into this!

Game so good I bought it twice...

The game is broken. The simulation is total nonsense, the performance is horrible, the features are barebones. According to the Colossal Order CEO this game is not for us.

Shameful.

Just a "no". This is worse for making fantasy maps than MS Paint. You don't have a brush meaning Every Single Tile needs to be clicked. Controls terribly too.
Developer more interested in his other projects than supporting this one judging by his Twitter. Such a shame, looked promising.

Not functional on macOS anymore.

Currently the game is borderline unplayable. Square Enix has underestimated the impact of the pandemic and Shadowbringers' positive reception. There are people AFKing by using bots or pressing a couple of buttons every 30 or so minutes out of fear that they won't be able to re-log into the game. Many AFK just for fun in the central city of Limsa Lominsa (or others) dancing; Square Enix has done nothing to stop them (a single spacebar or a spell will cancel out the 30 minute AFK-kick timer).

At the start, Endwalker is good but very lazy with a lot of re-colored gear. The Male Viera race added in this expansion cannot wear the vast majority of headgear (something modders were able to solve with no issue).

Squre Enix correctly relied onto its fanbase to defend Endwalker's terrible release state. To those fuming at this review (which you obviously are because you can't get into the game): You are defending a $6,000,000,000 company. Losers.

Fantastic game but also the first one to include micro-transactions at a pretty offensive and obnoxious scale. If you want to blame someone for the rise of those it's Valve, not EA :)

Unbalanced beyond all hell. I am being chased by overpowered French knights that seem to be available in Age 2 and have a self-heal ability.

And yeah, obviously, the AI is dumb as bricks. It's pretty good at cheating though

The game is okay but the downvote is on principle.
BYKING made the travesty that was ONE'S JUSTICE (1) to demo the interest in a MyHeroAca game before releasing this which is a glorified DLC pack/update and little more.
Multiplayer is unplayable thanks to cheaters. The fighting is OK.

At $10 a good buy for a bit of fun.

Bad game.
No tutorial.
The "training" is rubbish and doesn't teach you sh_t.
