I don't believe all of this review-bombing is justified. I was expecting much worse.

As a new player who took advantage of all the perks and handouts via quests, feats dailies, etc, I have been given a ton of free crap.
It's day 2 and I have most of my target deck, including 3 legendaries I had to craft, and 4 others which were drops. The rest of the cards I needed came from the dozens of free packs and stater-deck handouts.

Also it's fun.
