Well I used to enjoy this game. Now it requires you to accept ToS from Epic Games to start the game and an Epic Games account to play the game! - which you can't even read the ToS for ingame which is against GDPR (and prolly other laws). Epic Games can try to loot steam users somewhere else. Ain't getting one from me. Screw Epic Games

See it this way: you are giving epic the middle finger for doing this, since they will lose the money you spent.

I don't see why Steam would not accept the refund request TBH: the money goes back to your wallet, stays inside the Steam ecosystem, Valve doesn't lose any money, Epic loses money. Win-win for Valve, win-win for me cos I have now money to buy another game, ezpz

hm, i might try that, just out of spite tbh, but still. I've obviously gotten my money's worth but why not, hopefully it comes back out of Epic's pocket a little bit.

not a tough decision either on this side. You could also try to get a refund from it. Trying it now for the dlcs since I got the actual game on retail and can't get a refund for it because of it.
You can claim that the multiplayer no longer works because you are now forced to login with an Epic Account, and you don't want to do that.
