Hey there! I'm Mystery!
I'm a puzzle fan to the extreme, being a big fan of uncovering hidden objects and solving challenging puzzles.

In my professional day-to-day ongoings, I do IT. This is also a secondary hobby of mine, together with digital drawing of funny critters and community management. Been doing the latter for a little more than a decade now.

Also, I guess I really like squirrels, if my profile picture and badge weren't enough evidence of that.

I've drawn my own profile picture, so the credit's mine! I suppose if a link is needed, here you are [bsky.app].

Title "the Insane" was courtesy of Katrina and Hexe. Blame them.

some random quotes:

PC Hardware Nerd Stuff Revamped 2025 Edition
If you couldn't tell by my profile - I own a Steam Deck! I have the early 256GB LCD model.

Main PC - Fractal Torrent Nano
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX @ 5.4GHz Boost (that's right, mobile chip power baybee)
GPU: Gigabyte RX 7900XT Gaming OC 20GB (IT BARELY FITS.)
Motherboard: Minisforum BD795i SE (the magical thing that powers this whole build)
RAM: Crucial 48GB DDR5-5400 (2x24GB) (it was cheaper than 64 by a long shot!)
SSD: WD Blue SN580 2TB M.2. (boot) + Samsung 750 EVO 250GB SATA + Samsung 870 Pro 1TB SATA + Crucial BX500 1TB SATA + SanDisk SSD Plus 1TB SATA (the SATA drives are connected through a SATA to M.2. carrier board!)
PSU: Corsair RM850x 850W Gold ATX
OS: Windows 11 Professional 64 Bit
I have been aching to go ITX for a while now, and I love the Fractal Torrent Nano as a case. It's got support for big parts, while still having a compact and cool form factor...

"Office" Machine - Apple Mac mini
CPU: Apple M4
RAM: 16GB Unified Memory
SSD: 256GB sk Hynix (Boot) + Samsung Portable T7 1TB (USB-C)
OS: MacOS X Sequoia

Laptop - GPD Win Max 2020 Edition
CPU: Intel i5-1035G7 @ 3.7GHz Boost
GPU: Intel Iris Plus 940
RAM: 16GB DDR4-3200
SSD: Biwin 512GB M.2. (Boot)
SD: Samsung EVO Select 256GB Micro-SD
OS: Windows 11 Professional 64 Bit
absolutely tiny... but very effective for my purposes.
The hardware I have running all the time for some reason
VM Server - Beelink SER5 Mini PC
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5560U @ 2.3GHz, 4GHz Boost
RAM: 24GB DDR4-3000 (8GB sk Hynix + 16GB Kingston)
SSD: Beelink 512GB (Boot) + ADATA SU650 120GB
OS: Proxmox VE
Webserver, VMs for everything I could ever need... It does it all, really.

NAS #1 - TerraMaster F2-423
CPU: Intel Celeron N5095 @ 2.00GHz
RAM: 16GB DDR4-3200 (running at 2933MHz) (Kingston 2x8GB SODIMMs)
SSDs: Micron MTFDDAK2T0TDL 2TB SSD + Samsung 860 EVO 2TB (RAID1) + Intel SSDPEKNW256G8 256GB (Boot)
OS: OpenMediaVault

NAS #2 - Intel NUC5CPYH
CPU: Intel Celeron N3050 @ 1.6GHz
RAM: 8GB DDR3L-1600 (sk Hynix 1x8GB SODIMM)
HDD: WD Red WD7500BFCX-68N6GN0 750GB
USB: SanDisk Low-Profile 3.2 Gen1 USB Stick 128GB (Boot)
OS: OpenMediaVault
Basically acts like an external HDD... Could probably swap out the HDD for something better later, but it works for now. Used this to get rid of my old server...

I still have this laying around somewhere. I think I got it for 1 Euro with a game. Don't think that was entirely intended, but it's a good piece of hardware.
Use a random PC or phone with Steam Link nowadays though.

Anyways, now I should just add some random info that I wanted to add here. In my past-time I love messing around with devices like this and see what sort of functionality I can get from them. My room is littered with random hardware that I only barely know how it works. This is definitely one of those things. It is still amazing to me that it still operates as well as it does.
