This is the revised edition, so 4 players max and they took out a lot of the weaker cards to balance things out I guess. Ported directly from the tablet version but the tablet version was well made and at least it wasn't a phone port. The board has to be scrolled to see everything, but Agricola's board is huge, so that's understandable. Got a few bugs that hopefully get fixed, but overall I'm glad I can finally play Agricola on my computer.

Thanks Narkulus! That helps a lot. Not sure how I feel about removing the weaker cards though. Helps add a little randomness and chance to even the tables when pitted against stronger opponent...

The revised edition uses the best cards from the base game and expansions and eliminates the weaker ones, the rest of the differences mostly apply to the physical game such as artwork and components.
I generally think tablet versions of games port better to PC over phone due to the larger screen is closer to the size of a laptop screen, with that said, I've never seen the phone version of Agricola.

Thanks for the post. Curious to know more about this 'revised' version? My buddies and I have been playing the original iPhone game for years now. What was wrong with it , in your opinion? I've racked up over 500 games and all my friends own a copy of the board game too. So we feel like we know the gameplay pretty well. Only complaint I have is that the shuffle routine seems a bit limited. playing with the same group, it feels like I get some cards more than others. Did you mean that the iPhone port had issues, or were you speaking simply about the size of the screen wouldn't port well?
