Very nice implementation of the physical game. I don't actually own the board game, but I believe it's a good implementation because I quickly understood what I was seeing despite having never played before. Just a nice clean, visible layout and you can get a graphical overview of the entire game with the click of a button.

If you're not familiar with the game, it's basically laying down cards in a tableau to score points. There are 4 shared competitive objectives and you also have 1 or more personal objectives to help increase your score. You lay down birds which each have different point values, many of which also have powers which activate during play, some of those actions involve stashing food and utilizing other birds to gain points, there's also egg laying for scoring points and completing objectives. I highly recommend this one.

It's a banger.

Edit: Multiplayer is realtime 5 minute limit or asynch 24 hour limit.

Edit: And it has turn notifications. Yay!

Edit: No chat in multiplayer. Boo! But no dealing with insults from other playersl. Yay!

Literally 1000's of hours of a logistical nightmare puzzle. An interface built like a 1990's web page. Highly recommended for maximum brain punishment.

Edit: Digidiced has updated the UI considerably and it's much improved, so my review has changed to reflect that.

Great game and solid implementation. The only real weakness for me is the
tutorial, so you may be better off to read the rules before jumping in.

This is the revised edition, so 4 players max and they took out a lot of the weaker cards to balance things out I guess. Ported directly from the tablet version but the tablet version was well made and at least it wasn't a phone port. The board has to be scrolled to see everything, but Agricola's board is huge, so that's understandable. Got a few bugs that hopefully get fixed, but overall I'm glad I can finally play Agricola on my computer.

Received a permanent account ban on June 25, in the middle of a pandemic no less. I have zero interest in cheating at any game, and haven't even played the game since Wastelanders launched. Support will not respond to my ticket so I'm done with Bethesda as of now. There's plenty of other mediocre software developers I'd rather deal with.

edit: Finally received an email from support. It said after review, the ban will remain in effect. I suspect my account was hijacked, but they don't present any details in their response. It probably has more to do with the fact that I never spent any money in their Atomic Shop. Scummy company.

There are a few negative reviews due to bugs. I'd recommend ignoring those because my experience with Acram is they will be fixed in short order. The bugs will leave, but the negative bug reviews generally stick around since so many players don't update their reviews

Never played the physical and I'm really enjoying how this game's story unfolds playing the campaign, the physical version must be a joy to play building the board with the stickers and the rules slowly unfolding.

UI is very clean and understandable. Acram seems to be taking the place of what Playdek used to be as far as digital board games go.

Great worker placement game.

Early Access Review
Fun game.
I tried to play the physical game with my wife once, but she suffered from analysis paralysis and some kind of OCD where her window needed to be perfectly filled and the game took hours. we never played again so it's nice to see this digital version. Hopefully they can add an optional timer to multiplayer in case my wife ever plays.

The physical game has a solitaire high score mode that this digital version currently has not implemented. I hope they add this in the future, but in the meantime, there is a campaign mode that is a series of AI games.
