I am shocked at how into this game I am... The animation and the design is amazing

Re-rolling is very easy to do in this game thankfully (As expected from Cygames as I have previously played Dragalia Lost and can vouch how F2P friendly the game can be and how much currencies they give to give you a good chance to pull some focus 5* units in that game, unless I was just stupidly lucky the entire time till its closure)

Anyways...

When being in the Global region you are treated 2nd rate and having SEGA/ATLUS skimping on currencies and gifts we should've gotten in comparison to the other regions (China/Korea/Taiwan). This time, it sucks to live in North America over China. Wow.

And unless something changes, F2P players are going to struggle to pull on upcoming banners with how things are going.

Coming from Splitgate 1 (even though I haven't played it too much before they said they decided to stop supporting the game further), I thought this game's gunplay and portal mechanics would be the same as the first one. But I'll give them credit where its due: They nailed it. Some maps really did lack the portal potentials which I kind of get but with the class/hero system where each faction has different perks and abilities, it does add a bit of variety. However, I notice more and more that when I play this game I am definetely noticing a great amount of server desync where you can legit die behind cover even though you already ran away on your screen, but on their end you didn't even run around that corner yet. The most annoying thing of all, the audio in this game is MUCH worse than the first one and you cannot hear footsteps PROPERLY (At least, you can't even hear them sprinting BEHIND you until they are literally next to you). Sound in this game took a turn for the worst without a doubt and it needs to be tuned.

The are often times that sometimes the server can not register the last bullet you need to finish off that enemy who's at 1 HP and of course it doesn't register and you end up dying because of questionable tick rate/netcode. Of course, this game's netcode is better than SG1 but there's definitely some room for improvement. I'll keep an eye on this game but overall, I do feel iffy especially when you have the CEO being... Questionable since SGF 2025 and how he is responding to the bundle prices on said expensive skin and throwing a formal employee under the bus (As a leader, you should not be doing that or it will spell discourse in the company hierarchy and lack of trust).

I wish there was an option on Steam to be like "mixed" but for now I will say No, until they fix up their game and improve their outlook.

Not gonna lie, server has been getting laggier and laggier by the day and nothing is making it better. Progression tracking has basically halted and hit detection is suffering alongside with the terrible server quality right now. Now isn't a good time to play in my honest opinion. Gets really frustrating in the heat of the moment when the game decides to not work properly.

Update after 70+ hours of gameplay: I absolutely love this game. The fact I am doing a NG+ playthrough speaks volume as usually when it comes to some games with NG+, I usually get tired of it, don't bother going for NG+ and just move on. This game, I am hooked and I absolutely love the gameplay mechanics as well as the story, music and art direction the game shows while the Voice Acting (In English as that's the one I have selected) is amazing and makes you appreciate the characters even more. I highly recommend this game and still stand by my 10/10 recommendation.

Although I just started, the game is really beautiful and captivating while also being a more fun turn-based JRPG with some Action RPG elements from Sekiro (the dodge/parry mechanics in this case) and it truly is fun to actually test your skills that way while also having a blast that way. 10/10 so far.

Heck, I just recently bought the OST on Bandcamp as well (Mostly so I can choose between having it on .FLAC, .MP3 (320Kbps), or .WAV) and I absolutely love it. Still worth it

The game is glitchy, you can even dupe items and stuff as much as you like, and most of all, the DLCs are available in BASE game.

10/10 recommend for the ol' school glitchy janky TES game.

Early Access Review
Even after the Feybreak update, the game is still fun to play! I'll just say, I really enjoy it more than the Early Access launch and already during the initial launch it was already fun! Still recommend!

This is possibly the first RPG game I have fully committed to doing a NG+ AND even re-watching the anime and story cutscenes. The story is well written (As typical of Atlus games but they are well done overall) and the gameplay is something to write home about too. I don't want to spoil much but I highly recommend giving this game a shot!

Initially I said from the start of Season 1 that the game was overall pretty bad and lackluster.

Now, they really improved it and even went above and beyond what we initially got plus some more. A lot of great QoL changes and even some massive buffs on some under-utilized weapons and characters. Honestly, I am quite stoked on what the team is gonna do moving forward. This game really has potential and I say, let them cook.

Why the ♥♥♥♥ is the game's Sound so bad? Why did EA fire more staff members from the team?

And why are the servers just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? Don't play unless you have brain damage like me, and even then don't think of even TRYING this game with how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ EA is lately.

This game is REALLY unforgiving now if you're just trying to learn the game and even then, with all the inconsisent bugs and issues that has plagued this game since its release (Such as the inconsistent sounds like footsteps not being heard even though they're sprinting RIGHT BEHIND YOU ACCORDING TO THE KILLCAM... WHEN THERE'S NO FIGHT HAPPENING). Not new player friendly and just ♥♥♥♥ engine overall.

Just finished the main story (And going to do the Burning Shores DLC next) but what a fantastic port and beautiful game. I will recommend for the best experience is having a Graphics Card that has more than 8GB of VRAM because there are times where I was literally starved of VRAM and get dropped FPS when in cutscenes with more than 3 characters at once.

Besides that, great story and gameplay overall. A lot of things to do and explore and I recommend taking the time to do the optional stuff as they are very worth doing. Guerrilla games definitely improved the Melee System but it's still not great, but rather clunky and rarely used as you're using your other weapons such as Bows more often. I won't spoil anything but please play Horizon: Zero Dawn first before touching this game. Amazing game and can't wait till Horizon 3 comes out, whenever that happens.

EDIT since April 28 2024: I finished the Burning Shores DLC and oh boy did I drop frames a lot during the outdoor areas of the game but other than that, really good game! I will definetely replay this game again once I get a new higher end rig (Like an RTX 5080 and AMD Ryzen 9000 X3D build... Whenever that comes out this year)
