Excellent throwback to the RPGs I grew up with. Some of the narratives are better than others, but they're all worth the time I put in.

Gorgeous landscaped, interesting concepts and great performances from the voice/mo-cap cast. Pacing is all over the place, and the ending -- literally hours of cutscenes and exposition -- is incredibly tedious. A mixed bag, but an overall positive experience.

Excellent old-school JRPG. Might feel a little dialogue-heavy for some folks, but I loved the characters and the excessive world building. Definitely looking forward to checking out the remainder of the series.

Picked this up from Humble Bundle along with all of the DLC. Enjoying more than Planet Zoo (for now, anyway) -- feels more streamlined, the dinosaurs are fun to watch, and the controller support is a big plus for me.

I've revisited this title a few times since my original playthrough more than two decades ago, and maybe it's just the nostalgia factor, but I'm just as much in love with it now as I always have been. The remastered music is a real treat, and the little quality of life updates sprinkled throughout this version are a welcome addition. So glad I decided to take another run through it.

Solid enough Metroidvania game. Gorgeous visuals, controls feel tight and responsive. A few minor issues (numerous typos, for example), but off to a decent start. I'll probably check out the full version.
