Excellent game so far. As of this writing, I'm probably not even halfway through the main game's storyline nevermind the DLC, but it hits all the same notes as Horizon: Zero Dawn. If you liked part 1, part 2 is more of the same with even more giant robits to fight and funky weaponry to strategize with.

This is a genuinely solid remake.

I have no complaints. Using the old 2d sprites in a lush 3d world was weird-looking to my eye at first, but I got used to it, and now I like it.

It does a good job of benchmarking things.

The dev team seems obsessed with making radical changes to the game. Every major update, the buffs, nerfs and redesigns of this and that turn the whole game on its head in ways that feel like riding on a crazily swinging pendulum.

This is how its been for years. They keep making excuses for it and for themselves, and they even sometimes say they're going to stop doing things like that. Then they just keep doing things like that.

I can't recommend this game at all if you like PVP. PVP is supposed to be a big part of ESO, and the devs never fail to do a lot of things that don't matter much while perpetually ignoring all the elephants in the room.

If you prefer PVE, expect core functions of how your class plays to get utterly revamped one to four times a year. Don't expect a lot of those changes to make sense even if the devs explain themselves in the patch notes.

If you must play this game, don't get too heavily invested into exotic gear sets that put a refined polish on a specific build - your build is going to be trashed one to four times a year. Get solid, basic gear that you don't have to work too hard for and make your peace with sticking with it unless you just like re-farming gear from dungeons and raids a lot.

Also, don't bother getting too invested in the economic PVP. A handful of guilds run everything and, much like the real world, do everything in their power to make sure that even if they swap ownership of best locations from time to time between themselves, they'll never have any real competition and the devs will care not one jot about any affect this has on the playerbase as a whole.

Lastly, expect 90% of everything the devs do to be to slap something else on the cash shop. Most of it will be reskins and minor modifications of things they've released before.

So, if you're going to play this, keep your expectations altogether low when it comes to anything and everything community related. ESO has a pretty decent community, but you're only gonna wind up sad if you try to get too seriously invested in things like endgame PVE, PVP in general or much of anything except crafting,, selling stuff through one of the big merchant guilds and seeing all the story in the game.

The game has a lot of story to play through. Nothing bad to say about that at least.

This version of Persona 3 does NOT have 'The Answer' as expanded content. That was Persona 3 FES that had 'The Answer'. This version allows you to play a female protagonist and explore that side of the social scenarios, including some new and different ones alike.

It's an oldschool Persona game through and through though. If you like Persona 4 and/or 5, you'll find the same coming-of-age stories featuring young adults and the various people they develop relationships with that try to deal with school by day and saving the world from non-Euclidian archetypal horrors that would make Lovecraft and Carl Jung do some weirdo dance and then become one, revealing them to have been the BBEG the entire time.

I highly recommend it if you both like Persona games and are willing to be patient with this one being old and a little janky compared to 4 and definitely 5.

If you're new to Persona, this one is a decent place to start because this one is good, easy to play and not at all difficult to make sense of if you remember to read Glossary entries about stuff that's left you feeling lost, and you may rest assured that if you like Persona 3, you'll love 4 and simply adore 5.

3 is good. They only get better from here, and life is a lot easier if you play them in order rather than backwards. You'll get more out of 4 if you play it after 3, and 5 if you play it after 3 and 4. The callbacks and the little throwback references to events and even characters in 4 and 5 can be pretty neat when you know that that's what was even going on to begin with.

Also, the music at the real final boss fight is called 'Burn My Dread'. You'll thank me for letting you know that someday.

Edit 11/22/2023 -- A P3 remake coming up eventually might be good. It might suck. As of this edit, I can't know yet - what I know is that this version of P3 is good. Nothing's gonna be changing that.

Best game is best game. If you do not agree, you clearly don't like open world RPG's.
