Early Access Review
It's like ARK, BOTW and PLA had a child, producing Palworld. It has all of the jank of ARK. the charm of Pokemon and exploration of BOTW mixed together. Despite this, it actually manages to be better than two out of three of those titles. It has no shot beating BOTW, but it definitely feels better than ARK and looks infinitely better than Pokemon.

The developers are very clearly inspired by all three of these titles, they'd be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lying if they claimed otherwise. Wouldn't recommend this game if you happen to be a minimum spec PC. Ran this on a 1050 ti and Ryzen 5 2600. For the MOST part on Low, it ran at around 30, but some areas hit unreasonably hard for no particular reason, dipping into 10 FPS, like there's leftover trash hidden underneath the world, because it gets worse when I look down.

For an early access title, it's pretty lucky. If the Pokemon Company and Gamefreak actually allowed themselves to put out good games, this wouldn't do nearly as good as its doing, especially since Multiplayer is broke as all hell. Singleplayer is fine though.

Edit: After "100%ing" this game, all I have to really say is its more entertaining than pokemon will likely ever hope to be. The endgame grind (at normal settings) is pretty doodoo butter though. Luckily you can just change the settings of the game to account for that. Interested to see what's after 0.1.4.0 or if they just drop it and run.

Edit2: Tried online to see how bad the fuss is, you're definitely only going to be playing this by yourself or with friends privately since hackers delete you. No need to waste your time in official servers.

Edit3: Tried a few community dedicated servers, they're better than official but this game's multiplayer is a complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Attacks you dodge will reset your position and count as a hit, cliffs you climb will reset your position because of rubberbanding, you'll consistently get stuck in the ready-to-throw sphere animation mid-combat so you'll waste spheres. It's not fun. Avoid multiplayer.

Edit4: Crashworld. The Terraria update made this game unstable as all hell, I've deleted all of my mods, all of my shaders, uninstalled and reinstalled the game cleanly and still continue to crash. Not only does it crash terribly now, but the game runs poorly too, especially inside of bases with walls. Pocketpair dropped the ball, so I can't recommend it anymore.
