It's a great game. It has a lot of room for improvement and could offer so much more.

F1 24 continues to impress visually, with meticulously recreated circuits, realistic lighting, and remarkably detailed car models. The reflections on wet tracks, the movement of the tires, and even the subtle shimmer of the heat haze capture the high-speed intensity of Formula 1.
However, while the presentation is strong, the visual leap from the previous entry is minimal. For returning players, it might feel more like a refined update than a true generational step forward.

The handling has evolved, offering a more dynamic and responsive feel. Cars behave more naturally on different track conditions, and the new physics model rewards precision.
Still, balance issues and inconsistent AI behavior occasionally disrupt the immersion. Career mode introduces interesting ideas but fails to capitalize fully on them, often feeling underdeveloped or repetitive over time.

There’s clear potential here — with further refinement, the experience could be one of the best in the series. But as it stands, it doesn’t quite deliver the evolution one might expect.

The roar of the engines, the team radio chatter, and the ambiance of race day are all beautifully captured. The sound design remains one of EA Sports’ strongest assets, adding to the immersion and excitement of each lap.

F1 24 is a solid entry that shows glimpses of greatness. It delivers thrilling moments on the track and offers a foundation that could easily evolve into something truly special.
Yet, despite its improvements, it feels more like an incremental upgrade than a fully realized leap forward.
