I cannot recommend this enough. I'm a massive fan of puzzle games and while in terms of difficulty I didn't feel incredibly challenged, the art style, puzzle variety, and especially mechanics are absolutely mind boggling and spectacularly enjoyable. It's not terribly long but even at full price I'd recommend it!

TLDR: This is an experience not a game, if your looking for anything past a walking simulator with random online people avoid this one.

I saw this game for the longest time and picked it up some time ago. I was really excited with all the reviews and the visual style of Journey.

Considering the game came out originally in 2012 I will say that visually the game is impressive. I personally prefer a game that holds up as well mechanically as it does visually and while the aesthetic of journey is interesting and the graphics are great considering the release date, this was not enough for me.

Spoilers up ahead

This may come off as harsh but I can't fathom how this game has achieved and "Overwhelmingly Positive" status on steam. I've heard people refer to the mechanics as really simplistic but honestly they feel non-existent. I was expecting a monument valley esque experience where I might come across some platforming and puzzles.

As far as puzzles go there were none that I could find. There is the occasional platforming but personally this wasn't enough to keep me playing.

The story is so hidden that I question whether a complete story was even conceived. It always felt like they were leading up to some moment where everything is at least semi-clear but it never did.

Multiplayer was unconventional to say the least. Journeys implementation of multiplayer wasn't awful but it wasn't super enjoyable for me. I wasn't able to find an option to invite someone (please correct me if i'm wrong i didn't look to far into this point). For my entire "Journey" i was left getting closer to the end with random players I can't speak with nor communicate in any other way past a single ding noise. By the end of the game you are given a list of players you encountered on the way (i didnt get to this point but regardless I wouldnt have messaged any of them).

There were several more points I could make but those were the big ones. If you are looking for an experience (a very short one with a length of roughly 2 hours though mine was less) then maybe you might enjoy this more than I did. If your looking for a game look elsewhere. There is no challenge, there aren't any puzzles, there is only a single enemy that you cannot fight.

Loved every minute of it. It wasn't a long game but if you're a fan of puzzles and you want something a bit trippy then I would recommend picking this up.

Early Access Review
Before I start I want to say that I love this game and the reason I am not recommending it is NOT because the game is bad it is because the game IN ITS CURRENT STATE is in my opinion not very enjoyable. As you have probably seen from other reviews both positive and negative this game like a lot of early access games has numerous network issues, gameplay bugs, menu problems etc and this is understandable the devs (Zero Gravity Games) have been very responsive and released a patch fixing some issues the on the games second day of release. I love the complexity of learning what certain modules do and how they interact with one another the devs really put a lot of thought into the station building/repairing mechanics. One issue I do have is that there is a steep learning curve and without much tutorials and the wiki still being assembled it can be frustrating trying to figure out how to get started. Again I do love this game so far and I think if your iffy on buying it now just a month or so and let zgg fix things up a bit otherwise you will be trying to learn how to play while fighting server disconnects, player clipping, and other known bugs. In its current state I can't recommend Hellion mainly due to performance/gameplay issues I will update this review over time as the game receives updates.

This is mainly about vehicle physics but i will say that the voice acting is laughable at best.

After playing the game for about an hour i pray that the vehicle physics are some sick joke that ubisoft is playing. Still not sure if its even possible to destroy your car/plane my frien dive bombed his plane and he was just fine i drove my car off of a cliff without a scratch on me (cant say the same for the car though). The controls for vehicles feel unresponsive and most seem to handle about the same. Very happy that i was able to play the beta so i dont need to waste money on a clearly incomplete game.

When i first played this game i really liked it i could fly through the galaxy as far as i wanted the customization was good enough and the variety of the ships was pretty good. Graphics wise the game was incredible the graphics were stunning the planets and stars looked beautiful. Now feature wise... for the first maybe 2 weeks it had enough content to keep me going that long but then it just felt really repeditive. Now everything up to this point sounds pretty good so far right? WELL ive got some bad news for you. So as a lot of you may have heard the first "season pass" is coming ut in a few days called horizons and anyone who currently owns the game obviously myself included and buys horizons will be screwed out of about $50. If you currently own the game you will have to pay $50 (current players get 10 dollars off i believe) however people who do not own the game can purchase horizons for $60 and get the base game FREE. Its sad because content in horizons SHOULD BE CORE GAMEPLAY FEATURES such as landing on planets multicrew and commander customization. This in my opinion is terrible i was looking forward to what elite dangerous would become but if its going to cost $200 for a base game then i might as well go to star citizen. Elite Dangerous 7/10 Elite Dangerous Devs -1/10

Just to start off this review this years call of duty game advanced warfare was created by sledgehammer games and i

do recommend it. Some quick background of sledgehammer, they were the co creators of MW3 (Yea... not much

bakcground). Now by looking at a lot of the reviews for advanced warfare your probably tempted not to get it but im

honestly really enjoy playing the multiplayer apart from most other cod games. First thing to talk about is campaign then

exo survival and finally multiplayer (Saving Best For Last) Campaign was actually pretty fun i understood the story

pretty well and the missions were nicely done with good variation. Now of course this is call of duty were talking about

so the campaign isnt exactly 5 star worthy but compared to other call of duty campaigns this one was designed well. Not

much too say about exo survival except that its pretty much mw3 survival with exoskeletons (ill talk about exoskeletons

soon). Now ive saved the best for last call of duty advanced warfares multiplayer which to me one of the best call of

duty multiplayers ive ever played. Keep in mind im into faced paced games so considering the exoskeletons which give

the game that speed boost that ive been waiting for call of duty to implement however if you prefer more of a slower

pace kinda game well advanced warfare still has you covered with gamemodes like TDM, domination, and search and

destroy without exoskeletons. Real quick lets talk about what exoskeletons or exos as they call them allow you to do,

exos give you a legit way to double jump dash forward, backward, left, and right. Exos also give you access to exo

abilites, exo launcher and an exo powered punch rather than call of duty's standard knife. The exo launcher is basically

your grenade however you dont throw it you shoot it out of a small machine located on your wrist (Like in black ops 2's

campaign). Exo abilites are special abilites for exo's some are exo shield, exo ping, and exo trophy. Advanced warfares

loadout system is almost identical to black ops 2's (which i dont have an complaints about) however instead of 10 points

you get 13 points to spend on various weapons, equipment and gear as well as wild cards. Anyways the point is this

was actually a change of pace to normal call of duty's and i recommend it to fans of sci fi games, fast paced games, and

call of duty (obviously). I hope this helped give you a clear overview of advanced warfare's game changing system.

OK just so that im clear before i say anything i was not hired to say this or any of that sort of thing. Now to start off i gotta say i love this game already i preordered it months back and im glad i did this game has already surpassed what i thought it was going to be. I have been playing ac games since brotherhood and ive been buying them all from that point on. The ac series are one of the few series that i can actually count on nowadays to publish excellent games with awesome new features and gameplay mechanics. Now to get to ac unity first off i read the most helpfull reviews on steam and all i have to say is why??????? why are their sooooo many bad reviews on this game i have an asus rog laptop with an itel i7 and an nvidia geforce gtx 770m and i run this game around 50 frames despite the not so prefect port. Honestly when i first started the story it wasnt all that fun untill i actually reached the point where i could customize my assassin and play coop. The coop in this game is way better than i expected cause i kept looking at the e3 gameplay trailer and thught that is awesome but can we limited to small coop missions NOPE in coop you have the freedom to do whatever (kinda reminds me of gta online) you can free roam, find chests and its up to 4 player online. This is an amazing feature that you can roam the streets of paris with friends and im not quite too sure why this wasnt said in the e3 trailer. Anyways customization is fantastic when i got this game i thought ill be able to maybe change the color and like 5 hoods to choose from an 7 chests NOPE this game has so many customizations option and tons of colors the weapons are designed really nice and they allow for a better coop for example you may have a heavy axe and your character can have a lot of health to match where as a friend may have less health and more stealth to be some sort of scout. Now frame rate and graphics wise i already said my hardware and fps at around 50 and i set the game on medium graphics settings with vsync of course off and the game is not very laggy and looks spectacular. And i know not everyone i going to agree with me on that last thing because not everyone has a good gpu or they lag on the game so they think its junk. Come on guys dont hate on a game just cause your pc cant handle i know this even happens with consoles but come on dont hate on it becuase of frame rate or bugs that you know they will fix. One last thing ive heard people talking about major crashes and bugs but i havent really seen these although my friends rarley fall through the map or they crash after hours of gameplay but no game is perfect and a lot of these next gen games for pc tend to crash (the new cod). I hope this helps you make a descision as to whether or not to buy this game but i highly recomment this to fans of the ac series just make sure you pc can run it (this site can help you find that out http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri).
