As a big Papers Please fan, this game really impressed me. I got more than what I expected.
You know, people were really wondering what a 3D version of Papers Please would look like, and this is a very great example of it. At first, I thought that the checkpoint was the entire map until I had to get in my police car and drive around to buy necessities.
Papers-checking is absolutely awesome. I can't imagine a better version of it.
Contraband checking is also very interesting and complex.
Other mechanics like upgrading, cargo checking & packing, and imprisoning are still quite good, but I am only negative about 3 aspects:
Vehicle driving - the controls are so odd like if i turn a little too left or right, I feel like I'm gonna crash.
Weapon mechanics - aiming is kind of weird, the fact that you have to shoot multiple times in the body (except the head) sounds ridiculous to me.
Ambushes - the idea is interesting but I don't like the fact that it happens way too often, based on the ingame country population.

Overall this game is worth all my 10 bucks and I give it a solid 8/10.
I am looking forward to this game's future.
