DOOM, a game series that had potential to remain strong and popular for almost 30 years, had finally released their final and big game, DOOM Eternal, this is where the fun really begins.

Looking back to their precedent game, DOOM 2016, which had a very big success made us all remember of the legendary old school DOOM games. But in 2020 they released a new DOOM, an upgraded version of the 2016 game, that added new story plots but also fixed many issues that made us frustrated in the precedent game.
Now in DOOM Eternal, you have a BUNCH of new stuff for the cost of your first person shooter skills. Yes, this game require s you to have enough skills to beat this game in high difficulties, but if you are fps expert already, this is not a problem for you.
At the end, DOOM Eternal didn't disappoint me with their stuff, so lets head to proper review with scoring on some aspects of the game:

Lore/story: 9
(to be honest, the main reason I started playing DOOM games is because of their original story. you may ask, what kind of story is there if you only shoot, walk, shoot, walk, over and over again? If you pay attention to the game, you will eventually see that there is some massive lore behind this game, even the OG DOOM games, which was released before 2000, also had some kind of story.)

Graphics: 10
(the graphics are FANTASTIC, but for some reason, the game never lags, like for real, I have GTX 1060 6GB, and it runs very well. I am looking at you, Genshin impact and all Unity games.)

Gameplay: 8
(the gameplay went from 1 to 100 real fast from DOOM 2016 to Eternal. We got new stuff like fire gadget and grenades that doesn't affect our current weapons AT ALL. in 2016 version, using grenades will give you a little cooldown to your current weapon, which it was kinda yikes back then. Glad they fixed it.)

Weapon arsenal: 9
(If an FPS game wants to become successful, their choice of weapons should be perfect and balanced, in DOOM, you have all weapons that are designed differently, so one of them will eventually come handy for you. Unfortunately in DOOM, if you want to be good at this game, you need to use a lot of weapons if you want to kill demons fast, but after all, It's all fine.)

Game community: 8
(Ain't gonna lie, this game's community is pretty friendly if you know how to interact with it.)

Multiplayer: 6
(this is like the only aspect of the game that I am not satisfied with it. in the 2016 version there was a multiplayer version where everyone are doomguy, some sort of deathmatch, but in DOOM Eternal, yikes, just yikes. they will only to give you one single type of deathmatch, to either be doomguy or the demons. yeah, controlling demons is a new and fresh thing, but it ruins the classic multyplayer mode and not everyone prefers it. This is most likely the reason why I spent most of my time in DOOM Eternal in the campaign.)

My overall score: 8.3
Besides all the aspects that I didn't enjoyed, this game is truly a success that was able to bring an very old game back to life.
DOOM series will probably be my favourite game series of all time.
