I, for some reason, was someone's ♥♥♥♥♥ wife and he kicked me out of the house.
He also shot, killed and skinned my cat.

#RecRoomRevive

Back in 2018 I tried this game for the first time on my brothers VR and it was love at first sight. Although it was only a rift dev kit, it was still an amazing experience. In 2020 I bought my own VR, the quest 1, and it was the first game I installed, and it was pretty much the only game I played until about 2022, but then the game slowly started introducing more and more features that were terrible (along with expensive, and not good looking cosmetics), but made the devs money. And the state in 2025, well, let's just say it's no where near as glamorous as it used to be. The game is now filled with annoying ass e-boys, children that don't sound above the age of 12, and devs that are only in it for the money.
Thank you for reading my review.

This game is nothing short of a masterpiece. If you’re someone who wants the short version, I’ll sum it up right here:
9.5/10, without a doubt. If you haven’t already picked this game up, do yourself a favor and buy it as soon as possible - you won’t regret it.

I first purchased the game in June of 2024, completely new to the Souls-like genre, with no idea what I was getting into. Fast forward to January of 2025, and I decided to revisit it. What followed has been nothing short of a gaming obsession. Over the past 2.5 weeks, I’ve already logged over 40 hours, and I’m still nowhere near completing everything the game has to offer. There’s so much to explore, so many bosses to defeat, and an incredible amount of lore to uncover.

From the breathtaking world design to the challenging combat and unforgettable boss fights, every aspect of this game keeps pulling me back in. There’s a sense of satisfaction with every step, every battle, and every victory. If you’ve been on the fence about trying it out, I can’t recommend it enough - buy it. The journey you’ll experience is well worth the time, and the rewards are incredibly satisfying.

This game is an absolute masterpiece. If you're after the quick version, here it is: 9/10, no question. If you haven't played it yet, don't wait - you’ll regret it if you do.

Ever since I got to try this game via game sharing, I’ve been hooked ever since (until we stopped game sharing :'c). From the moment I started, I was blown away by the stunning graphics, the gameplay, storytelling, the level of detail, the character animations, and the environments - this game is gorgeous. I didn’t encounter a single bug, which made the experience even smoother.

After playing through it, this game has firmly earned a spot in my top 5 favorite games of all time. The story, the characters, the emotional rollercoaster - it all ties together perfectly. If you’ve been on the fence, don’t hesitate. It’s a journey worth taking, and the rewards are more than worth the time you’ll spend.

NOTE:
I have also tried, and owned, Part II on my PS5, and I recommend you buy them together in a bundle, the latter in the series is just as good, if not better.

Early Access Review
To put it bluntly, this game isn’t worth the time for a detailed review. It’s riddled with bugs and tries to do way too much for its own good. If Ready or Not and Rainbow Six Siege had a child, it’d probably be that one kid who tries really hard but still trips over their own feet - this game feels like that.

2/10

This game is a must-have for anyone into the tactical genre. If you’re looking for the short version, here it is: 8/10, without a doubt. If you enjoy CQB and want something that takes realism to the next level, pick this one up - you won’t regret it.

I first dove into the knowing I was in for a realistic experience, but I had no idea just how close it would get to true-to-life CQB mechanics. Fast forward to now, and I’m still in awe of how detailed and immersive the gameplay is.

From the meticulous attention to detail in every mission to the heart-pounding firefights, this game’s realism is unmatched. Even though RoN has a lack of maps (which with the new DLCs coming out, I doubt that will be an issue for much longer), the multiplayer keeps me coming back for more. If you're looking for a game that delivers on both realism and tactical-ness, do yourself a favor and grab this one. The experience is worth every minute.
