I surely didn't expect this plot direction in a sequel, "The right man in the wrong place." Brilliant. Inconsequential. Does your origin matter? You will find more excellent environmental details, storytelling, and incredible physics. Not to mention, one of the first competant CPU companions, Alyx Vance. A masterpiece refined and timeless, highly recommended.

Start back up at the end of Half-Life 2, this time dial the action to 11 and enjoy more great physics, character interaction, and Alyx Vance. Love it!

Valve's catalyst into digital distribution and company formation. The game revolutionized the FPS shooter and added storytelling to a genre that was usually concocted of shooting minions of evil or your friends for the sake of survival. However, Half-Life, a game with a cinematic, unthinkable plot carefully leads you to dire sequence of events. If you find the original's presentation too jarring tho, I recommend the Black Mesa remake, greenlit by Valve, which works out most of the visual kinks. Also increase FOV to minimize motion sickness, you may not have that problem, but I do X_X

This, friends, is DLC at its finest! How do you fix the original title's problems? More content that addresses the original problems. This DLC is a no-brainer

This was my first GTA, I was on Nintendo up to this point. I liked this game very much, played it through twice and almost went for 100% completion, but lost focus due to the sheer scope of the requirements. This game may have marked a deviation in Rockstar's framework of GTA titles, going from over-the-top to realism, but as long as I am presented with well conceived story missions and plentiful distractions, I am sold. Frankly this game lacked in the latter, however, if Red Dead Redemption is any indication, Rockstar is more than capable of finely-crafted compelling open world games for future iterations.

Sure, you could make the "climbing a burning ladder" analogy, but that denies the game its addictive and engaging quality. FTL was a successfully crowd-sourced project that made its way to Steam and delivered the premier Space Commander Simulator experience. Simple to learn, difficult to master, and an element of fortune. Start a new game, name your crewmembers with your buddies name, pick your ship, and take flight as you deliver important intelligence with pirates on your tail. On my top 5 Steam games, and a great recommend for anyone.

This game would have been even better if it was in locked at 60FPS! The technical problems in this port were even experienced by the high-tier PCs of current generation technology. Performance aside, the game was the open-world experience that got me hooked from start to finish. The story is a literal trip and the possibility of doing what you want at precisely the moment you wanted was liberating and intimidating all at once, especially with that tiger chasing you. Not to worry tho, you get fully equipped for the jungle, and mentally, you just go along for the ride.

At one point I had three copies of this game, and no, I wouldn't play them simultaneously. Now that Skyrim development is wrapping up, it's a good time to comment on the extremely enjoyable time I had with it, starting from character customization to random nonsense in the overworld. This game was able to reach a very diverse audience and I would regard it as the AAA Minecraft even in terms of what you can do and how the player can add to the experience. With the Workshop and Mods still going strong, don't expect this game to ever be forgotten, but readapted for coming generations of gamers. Until Elder Scrolls VI maybe...

An excellently artistic and stimulating platformer. This game is all about precision and dexterity. When mastered you will literally zip across the screen with elegance and confidence. Recommended for the hardcore platformers, and could possibly be enjoyed by more casual platformers thanks to its lovely presentation and wonderful soundtrack. The soundtrack is worth a listen regardless. This game came after my Super Meat Boy fix and was splendid.

Until recently, I thought this game was flawless, but that's because I was playing the best two classes. Try to play another class besides Knight and Mage, and good luck succeeding with your tower defense without the help of your buddies. If you do decide to play as either of the aforementioned you will enjoy a nice third person action game with tower defense mechanics and RPG leveling and weapon acquistion. However, don't expect much depth in the vanilla single player.
