Finished Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time yesterday. I plan on hitting the other endings and a few more side quests before uninstalling for now, but jeez, this game feels like a way of life, especially in terms of gameplay and exploration. The game is great. It is NOT a particularly cyberpunk game, it is NOT the "ultimate RPG" or anything, but it is a fun shooter with some RPG elements and great characters. The environment design is fantastic, the mechanics are generally great, there are a variety of playstyles, and the gameplay loops never got boring to me. I thought the overall writing of the story was pretty weak, but the specific quests and characters within them were very well put together, and with only a couple exceptions, had me interested the entire time. I liked this game more than I thought I would, and I'd strongly recommend it as long as your initial expectations are tempered a bit.

I feel really conflicted on whether I should recommend this game or not. There are a few minor improvements upon Dungeon Siege 1, but way more problems. First, you can only use 4 characters on your first playthrough, which is inherently worse than DS1's max party size of 8. The special abilities don't always trigger when you press the buttons. You usually have to mash them. The saving system is terrible. It more or less forces you to save at certain parts, making the mine portions completely miserable, for instance. It's so easy to blow you and your party up accidentally because of the poor visibility, but while Dungeon Siege 1 would allow you to load from the last time you saved, Dungeon Siege 2 makes you replay the entire portion since the last teleporter until you get to where you were. The story has its good and its bad moments, though I didn't really worry much about it. Enemies respawn, which fits in some areas and feels very out of place in others. Characters frequently choose to attack separate enemies while still in mirror mode, making characters die completely preventably. The boss fights are just soul draining, if you don't have a guide on a few of them you're going to have a terrible time. The game has glitches on its current windows port, including the dragon glitch in which you need mods to progress. I really wish I could recommend this, since portions of it are incredibly fun, but ultimately this game just isn't very fun when compared to the first game.

Significantly worse than Asphalt 8 in almost every way. The career pacing is abysmal, there are paywalls everywhere you look (even more so than previous games), and the races with cops are the least fun thing I've experienced in a driving game. The refill mechanics on cars are also incredibly frustrating. It's a shame since the core gameplay is pretty fun, but the endless frustrations make it hard to justify spending time playing it.

If you like fun stories about interesting characters and a wonderful atmosphere to go along with it, this is the game for you. Coffee Talk is not trying to do everything, but what it sets out to do it does so well that it's definitely one of my favorite games!

Great mod, well worth checking out. Some puzzles feel a bit straightforward but they were all still fun to play. The environment design and voice acting were what I loved the most, though! You can tell a lot of work went into this mod, and as a result it's quite a lot of fun.

Incredible game, very reminiscent of the Half-Life games. The ending is a bit abrupt, but generally everything is very well put together and fun to play, so I'd highly recommend it.

Great mod, definitely one of the more unique ones I've played while still staying close enough to HL2. Might have been my favorite if it weren't for a few infuriating antlion sections. Good level design, great environments, incredible music. My only real issues with the mod were a few annoying sections that required finding stuff during combat. They weren't particularly hard, but required me to reload repeatedly so I didn't get stuck by antlions.

Good game filled with small annoyances and problems. I found out about it through Ross's video, and it definitely holds up to the expectation of being able to beat up everything in the game. Unfortunately, I started to encounter frequent crashes towards the later portions of the game, the ending seems not to work, and the pacing felt somewhat off. The game also started to feel like it should have been called "Mage Babysitting Simulator 2002." The best parts of the game were mostly above ground, and on another playthrough I'd likely stop 3/4 of the way through. Regardless, Dungeon Siege is a solid game, just be aware of the annoyances.

I really enjoyed Portal Stories: VR. I must admit, it was quite a short experience, and it took a bit of tinkering to get it to work. One of the main reasons I was looking forward to trying this was for the idea that I could get to see Aperture in VR, and it completely delivered on that front! You don't get to do much exploring, but the developers did a great job of getting the varied environments present in Portal 2 into a 20-40 minute experience.

The gameplay is one of the weaker elements of this game. It's not bad by any means, but there are no portals present, and there are few puzzles that took more than a couple of minutes, including time spent exploring and looking around. There are a few VR ease-of-use issues I had, although fortunately nothing major. The two main ones I experienced, besides the initial setup, were the lack of ability to turn with the thumbsticks and an abundance of bloom. The former had me looking all around and getting a bit lost in my own VR playspace. My only other issue is that the teleportation feels rather clunky to use, though it's not too hard to get used to!

I knew I would like this before I had even played it, after I thoroughly enjoyed Portal Stories: Mel, and the developers kept delivering quality content in this game as well. My favorite part by far, though, was the final elevator ride . It actually had me distracted because the field-of-view on my headset wasn't wide enough for me to see everything I wanted to at once!

A note to all Oculus Rift S owners: you can still get this game to work, but you have to set the .exe file to run in compatibility mode to Windows 7. I also needed to start SteamVR and then run Portal Stories: VR. I can't confirm that this will work on all systems, but it worked for mine!

Marie's Room is a fun, short game. It's primarily story based, but like many story based games, the atmosphere is built up well. The visual design and music both help to add a lot to the experience, and turn it into something I'd absolutely recommend trying! Do keep in mind that there is no save system for this game, but it's short enough not to really need one. The story was good, had a few twists and turns that you discover along the way, but it wasn't groundbreaking in my eyes. Still, it was presented in an interesting way! The only real gripe I have with the game involves an issue with my mouse, in which the cursor would sometimes pop away from the game and open other windows. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience!
