Early Access Review
I bought this game thinking it'd play like a roguelike. This is simply a couch coop/party game. There's no progression between runs beyond just trying to get a better high score. I was disappointed and decided to try for a second run.

With the new mindset, understanding that that run is all there is....its pretty fun. Get a few friends together and just see how far you can get. I enjoyed my time with it and decided to keep it as I think it'd be fun to play with the kids.

Roguelike usually have some sort of progression via unlocks that make future runs different or easier. Weapons or mobility options for example.

All you have with this is a codex that shows what you've done before.

I know what you meant but your phrasing is really funny to me because "no progression between runs, just get a far as you can" was the first definition of what a roguelike is. It's funny how the genre has developed to the point where that is no longer the case.
